Hello Everyone, My name is Giovanni and have been into photography for quite a while. I'm in no way an expert and I'm hoping that this could be a place where I can learn and expand my ideas.
I like to take shots without using a flash, therefore I play around with ISOs, shutter speeds, etc. Some come out good and some not so good. Gotta love digital for that.
I've browsed through the forum and have seen pictures that people have posted. I must say there are a lot of talented people in here. Glad to be part of the group.
I currently use Nikon D60 and my main lens is Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S VR II ED. I love the versatility that I can get from one lens. Once I save some money, I would love to get a lens that would give me a bigger zoom. Just to add to my arsenal.
That's all for now. Here are some of my current shots. Feel free to critique.

I like the snow pic! As much as I hate snow I am looking forward to it since I just got my first DSLR.. I hope that I can get some wonderful pics this winter.
Welcome Giovanni, and these are nice shots!
I would offer this advice though, # 1, and #3 would be better utilized if they were not centered!
No. 2 is a very interesting and nice shot.
Welcome..Nice shots..keep posting and keep on practicing. It is not the equipment but the person operating it that makes great pictures.

Welcome to the "hog", Giovanni!
Love your #2 photo. Yes ! Centering subjects gives one the "Bullseye" effect and focuses your eye in the center... making for a static photo. Let the eye wander all over the presentation by making one look for other subjects in the photo.
Welcome aboared, Giovanni.
Great to have you here. nice work :)
