Looks like the UHH's cleared the shelves on these. I just checked Adorama and they appear to be sold out. I planned on possibly ordering but waited too long to see how everyone liked them after delivery. Anyone know if they plan on re-stocking? They had already raised the price before selling out. I'll bet it will be even higher if they do re-stock.

I will be interested in the "honest" long term reviews of a $40 gimbal ;)

I have noticed this: honest good reviews of products always raises their prices, so be careful with how you review, or you will be working for them and against us. Put in some defects of drawbacks, please. No product is perfect.

I bought an item on "Axxctyshgdh" that had very good reviews when first appeared. It was really cheap at $32. Next time I recommended it to a friend, the price was $150! Not a year, maybe 4-6 months had passed and all the reviews were high.

So, think of it, that is what drives the price. One should be looking for new items that appear to be good and of similar functionality of brand names... Like the last head i bought similar to a Manfrotto that was double the price. Super! Holds my 100-300 on any angle tight! I am going to buy a second for a future second tripod or monopod.

And i am about to give it a mixed review., stating that Manfrotto is king ( yes i like them) and this is just good. Why? Those that want brand names can spend their money and have their branded items, i prefer functionality.

Well, I just have a Canon Rebel T3, and am new to this dslr thing, and pretty broke, so if I can get one that doesn't cost more than I paid for my baby camera, that's what I'll go with!

I just got my flashpoint gimbal head Friday and must say that MT Shooter was right. No, it does not compete with a $700 head but for my Sigma 50-500 it is perfect. I got in at the last minute and paid $60. This is a much better option that the Induro DM01 I was using, although that is a fine ball head. A heck of a bargain.
