You ought to cut and paste a link so we can see what it is that you are talking about.

Hi Jeep daddy.. I am not sure how to cut and paste but assume you mean a picture of said add on lens. Am I making sense. The lens I am referring to appears to screw into the lens being used to make that lens into a wide angle or to make it wider, I suppose one could liken it to a close up filter.

Go to your Amazon page and click on the url then once highlighted left click. In the drop down menu click copy, come back to UHH and right click in your reply post and click paste. We'll be able to click on the url and visit the page you're referring to.

They are usually not of great quality and are marketed to people with a fixed focal length lens on their camera. Save your money and buy a better camera with interchangeable lenses or a zoom lens.

Hi Pepper.. Sorry I am a bit late getting back to you but we are having a new kitchen installed.I had no luck trying tocopy and paste picture from url, the next answer I had seemed to answer my question and that was they were generally not worth the money. So I am knocking that idea on the head

Many thanks for your advice, I have several Canon lens including the standard 18-55 and as you say they are probably not worth bothering with
