Well straight up I thought Ford, '47, here we call it "Jail Bar" model. Google search tells me 42-46. I know we assembled Ford and Chev, probably others, and we ran late so what we call, and sold here new, as a 56 chev is really the 55 model. The subleties between the 42,3,4,5,6 will need more research. The body may have a ID tag on it? Good luck.
My husband and I played the guessing game for a few minutes--so I will be interested to find out too ! nice shot !

Im not sure about the year of that truck But I think they only made cars for the gov.service from 42 to 45. 46 is when they started to make them for sale to the public.

In Feb of 1945 Ford was given permission to build vehicles for commercial use, in anticipitation of the end of the war. In May of that year Ford produced their 31,000,000 vehicle, a 59c commercial car. (Truck) It was only available in green. There are a bunch of them for sale today with a '45 title.
