This is Sara sitting in a church pew. She is 22. She has two beautiful little boys . The oldest one will be 3 in May. The other one is only 1 1/2.

On April 5th, she will be sentenced to jail for 2 years. She was on probation for drug charges and did not comply with anything. She also felt it more important to go partying instead of spending time with her boys. Now they have been taken away and are in foster care and up for adoption and she has no say in the matter.

The courts gave her every opportunity and then some for her to turn it all around. Even both sides of the family, her side and ours, did everything possible to also help. All she did was to lie, cheat and steal.

The father of her two boys (whom I hate to admit) is on our side of the family. He is now in jail for other matters and has yet to go to trial on more things. So very sad.

God only knows what is going through her head.

Sorry to hear the bad news, neighbors grandson is in prison for drugs ( suspended sent revoked ) n his wife got busted for drugs n then not 2 wks later busted again.
They have a young child whom grandparents n 1 son n his wife are raising.
Sorry to say is no cure for stupidity when it comes to drugs

In the end, she is responsible for herself. No one can help her until she helps herself. How sad it is that so many are just like her. My cousin, who worked at the jail in Cookeville, has some pretty horrifying stories of the addicted he dealt with. Sending prayers for healing will help, whether we realize it or not.

i have a son who battles addiction. we will pray for her. i mean that. my wife and i pray every evening and i will put her and the boys on our list. its terrible that the children have to suffer for the life of their mother.

addiction is terrible, it never lets you rest, and all you ever can think of is that next high, it gets wired in your brain so complete, that you dont even realize your doing it again,and again, hopefully she can find peace somewhere in her life. just realize you cant do it for her and fix her. it doesnt work mthat way, i wish it did, my son is addicted to pain pills, and its a terrible thing watching life pass them by

She made her choices. And what she had to deal with in the courts was not that big of a deal. Now it is.
