Thinking about a new camera, and have narrowed it down to a Nikon. I shoot mostly landscapes, have 3 mirrorless cameras, but would like to move up to a FF. Under $1000. Looking between the D5200 or the D3200. Have no idea which is the newest or which one I should consider. Help

The 5200 or 3200 are not full-frame.

The least expensive Nikon FF camera is the D600 and the body-only price is around $2k.
With lens about $2500

I guess I do not understand what a full frame camera is.

The link below will get you familiar with Nikon's line up. As Goofy says the best shot you have is the D600 but you'll be looking at used. Even the refurbished units are going for more that 1K.

Recently purchased the Nikon D7000 which as my first DSLR is turning out to be fab. However, Nikon have now launched the D7100 which if I had delayed my purchase of the D7000 would have been the one to go for in my book. Could not afford a full frame but could not be happier with my choice. £890 which included a packaged nikon zoom.

Highly recommended by me a novice on steriods

I recently bought 2 D7000s great camera, bought the Sigma 150-500 and a couple of other lenses the same day

If you check the D7100 what you get extra for what you pay isn't worth it, and IF the camera HAD been a marked step up it would not have been a D7100 but say a D8000

You mean not worth it to YOU please allow others to speak for themselves. I chose the D7100 over the D7000 because the added features ARE worth the extra dollars to me. And I thank you for your consideration.

True, I think your right in not really getting as much as you'd like on the D7100 however, give it some months and the price may drop. It's already had an effect on the D7000 as this can be picked up here in the UK for £799 now ( with a 105mm zoom)

Looking for a 120 - 300 f2.8 now.....just need to find a rich woman!!

Oh dear, I thought that was what a forum was for, and if you look back on PAST posts others from ACROSS the pond have said THE SAME tell them too, WHY do others from there ONLY pick up on UK comments when the same is said from your side also.

What lenses do you have?

Good article about FF advantages over DX in April issue of DigitalPhoto magazine, pages 50-53 and 69-70. Bottom line it's not one versus the other, it's what do you want to do and how much are you willing to spend.
