#1 This house sits on Hwy 62 that takes you to Crater Lake National Park. You never drive by it without seeing people
taking pictures. It has been preserved by the city of Eagle Point, Ore.
#2 This old farm house will not be there much longer. It is
found on a rural hwy, Hwy 234, Gold Hill, Oregon
#3 The elderly lady that lived here was just moved a month
before the property was purchased by friends. Her kids lived
in another state and had no idea she was living like this. She has since passed on.
Most photographed house in Oregon
No hope for this old one
Of times gone buy
I too love to take photos of old houses and buildings, especially barns (I grew up in Minnesota). My favorite of these three is the last one. Love the colors and the textures and the composition. It speaks volumes about times gone by.
Oh, that third one is just fabulous!!! I love the old homes and the one that is falling in gets my attention more than the one that is in great condition. I would take the falling in one before the other one. EXCELLENT shots!!!!
all nice, love the last one, it is one of those that you just cannot shoot...beautiful
mrsmoses, the top photo is good but would have been better if you had backed up a little and got the whole building and the chimney in the photo. The second one is very good, like the composition and framing. The 3rd one blows the other two away, this is a great photo
I also love old buildings. Great images.
Thanks Rich. Actually I was on the other side of the hwy and there were a lot of wires in the way to get a good shot. This was one of the impromptu shots when you are going down the road on the wrong side of a busy hwy.
Here more shots of the old house in real disrepair.
Thanks for your critique.
Nice shots...I can see why people want to stop and shoot the first house. Yep....include the chimney. The others sure could tell stories if they could talk. That third one could tell a story...very nice work!
It almost looks like someone is still living in that house! Be careful! haha Great character.

The second three were all great photos, composition and sharpness were very good.
I love all of them but I would like to see the first one shot in morning or evening sun light .(softer lighting)
Haven't been on UHH for quite a while do to health issues. Glad to see some are still looking.
