I am Ray from New Jersey, USA. I have always been fascinated by the stars and universe. A loyal Carl Sagan fan. I have photographed the moon very sucessfully with my Nikon D700, but I want more. LOL Sooooooooo, I bought a Celestron SE4 with all the trimmings. Got it on Monday and the sky has been cloudy (rain, snow) since then. Gave me a lot of time for reading. Am almost overwhelmed, but will go slow and easy. My question is what kind of pics can I expect (after tons and tons and tons of pracrice) with this setup. Any examples will be apreciated. Am mostly interested in the Planets.......Thanks all and my e mail is rrayr2002@aol.com. Have a great day all.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJZxI6fD0wEthe adds for this states you can use a dslr for photos. I'd suggest you start with taking 20 seconds to 30 second pics. Start with the moon and adjust camera accordingly - say 1/100 of second etc.
