This is the 1st blog I have ever been associated with so will probably just observe a lot.
I've been shooting since the late 60's with Topcon, Canon, Kowa-6 and Graflex 4X5. Much darkroom experience here.
I've been shooting a Nikon P 100 and a Canon SX until recently when I got a Canon 60 D w/ 18- 200 lense. The upgrade seems to be significant so far. Any insights about this camera and lense combo would be appreciated.

Welcome to UHH love your user name and then show a pic of an eagle. I started with a Nikon P-100 also ended up with a Nikon D3200.

Welcome. Charleston was my home for 3 years. My wife and I were married there in 89. We visit every other year since we have family in Beaufort.
One of the 1st blog posts I ever created (not that ive done many) was my photos of Charleston downtown. Last year's vacation actually.
I have learned a great deal from this site and met some really nice people. Glad you found it.

Folly Beach anyone? I get there every other year for a week. We stay in the Charleston Villa and wake to the Atlantic every morning. I have to say the best part of vacationing in SC is seeing the Ohio state line in my rear view mirror when travelling south on Rt. 77.

Did it for effect but it could be a lot better if I had used a good photo editing program. I any case, thanks for the feedback. It is the reason I'm here.
