A while ago we had some drizzle and I thought I take a few pictures of the droplets, nothing fancy but I thought someone might like it too. I always had a soft spot for cacti and at one time I had 250 all in pots in my garden, it took two days to soak them in tubs monthly. As they got heavier and I got older I had to give it up, I only have a few left. What broke the straw was when one fell on my forearm and I ended up in the emergency hospital to have the spines surgically removed.

These are absolutely stunning. I so enjoyed these. I can imagine that Emergency Room procedure was NOT a pleasant one.

Very interesting and enjoyable photos. I had no idea that house plants could attack!

Thank you Carole, I wish that hair could be transplanted onto my scalp, the color matches. LOL.

Thank you very much. Well, they would not live very long inside a house, also they are about 7' tall.

after seeing your cactus shots, I am inspired to try my luck at the local arboretum, great cactus green house!

Thank you so much. After the cactus fell on my arm I tried to pull the needles out myself but the have barb hooks and the more I tried the deeper they went, as the Doc said if I would have left it alone his work would have been easier.

Thank you Bruce, when you go there inquire when some are in bloom, they have gorgeous blossoms but most of them only last one day.

Very well done. Interesting textures. I like the water droplets amongst the spines of the cactus. Nice.
