Met a guy yesterday at Eastern Michigan during the Pom High Kick competition (sorry terrible with names forgot already) that pointed me towards this forum. Looking forward to checking it out a bit more.

Been shooting DSLR for a little over a year. Shooting the Nikon D3000 right now. Learned a lot from various forums and websites looking to learn more.

I travel a bit for work so I bring my camera with me. This year I have been to Southern California, Germany, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Nova Scotia and probably some others I forgot about.

I ride a 2006 Yamaha R1 and I have been riding since I was 8 (so about 31 years). I do roadracing when I can but I mostly ride the backroads off the beat and path looking for any interesting twists and turns as well as scenery.

I try to get outdoors as much as possible hiking and hunting.

And I have 4 kids so I shoot a lot of kid photos.

Here is a sampling of some of my photos.

Photo 1 is a racetrack in Belding, MI - shot is of my friend Paul
Photo 2 is Anza-Borrego State Park in California
Photo 3 is the palace at Ludwigsburg in Germany

Very nice captures! My son works in Canton. Drives truck for Iron Mountain. And another friend lives in Canton. You're not too awfully far from me. I'm north west of you in Owosso. Welcome!

Made it crystal clear to the wife before she was the wife - SHE goes BEFORE the bike does. As long as I am physically able to do so I will be riding.

Got any old GP shots? Very sad about Marco :(

I love watching GP. Awesome stuff.

Ya, to bad about Marco ( super Sic ) I feel real bad for Edwards & Rossi as well, hope they press though it all.Sadly I lost all my GP racing pics in a flood back in the 90s.I only have a couple of my Moto-Morini and my harley that I cant ride anymore cause of a bad foot, that all started from guess what...Bike wrecks.Ha !

very cool pics.. too bad you lost the other ones.. those were priceless.. I am more of a weekend hack myself.. I don't race just do track days.. Of course a track day is what you make of it - usually I get 5 or 6 friends and we go at it for 8 hours on the track.. I just don't have enough of a desire to race.. I would rather get out, no pressure and just have fun and go fast.. And as you probably know all too well racing is a big time and cost commitment.. I am spread way too thin to even consider.. I try to do a lot of things good..

Well, since I can't ride anymore,I'm into buying used and making new again, currently I'm working on a 92 Vans and Hines FZR 600 #62 and just finished a 72 DS7, predecessor to the RD.
