My name is Kevin Alves. I have lived in San Francisco since 1994 when I was 28. (you do the math) Photography is a hobby of mine. I also collect postcards and sell them on eBay. Two years ago I fell and injured my spinal cord without realizing I did. Last year my leg got heavy and walking became difficult if not impossible. I had surgery on my neck in January to prevent the injury from getting worse. But there is scarring and, while things have improved, I am still having difficulty walking and use a mobility scooter to get around. Last month another injury to my spinal cord was discovered in my lower back. I am trying to stay positive and hope to walk regular again one day. In September this year I am going to Paris France, a trip I've waited my whole life to take. I hope to be able to take some wonderful photos to share. Stay tuned.
