Occupaion: Retired Professor Interests: Kayaking, birding Biography: I retired in May, 2012, from the sociology department of Michigan State University. I now spend most of my time photographing birds, sea kayaking (also teach it), and volunteering at the local animal shelter. I mostly use a Nikon D7000 with Nikon 70-300 zoom lens.
