My introduction to photography came with an unexpected Christmas Kodak Brownie and a disappointing replacement for the football I had hoped for. With respect to the wisdom and insight of Santa, the Brownie marked the beginning of a lifelong fascination with photography and my journey through the evolution of black and white film to digital SLR. The miracle of bringing the snap of a shutter into a lasting visual experience continues to fuel my passion for creating artful images of time and place.
