Two thoughts I have are:
1. "Applause"
2. Don't you think most Americans believe as you do? It seems that the majority always seems to be silent, while the lunatic fringe minority makes the most noise and gets the headlines.

Depending on how bright the light reflected off the waterfall, you'll need a neutral density filter. I prefer to use Cokin Filters. It's not a screw onto your lens system, rather it's a holder that easily attaches to the camera. If the situation is extremely bright, you can even insert multiple filters at the same time to accomplish what you need.

The photo in your post is Upper Antelope Canyon, in Page Arizona. It's not to be missed, as well as Lower Antelope Canyon. These are slot canyons on Navajo land and there are many guides/tour operators that available in Page to take you to the Upper Canyon. Lower Antelope Canyon is just off the highway and requires no guide, just payment to the Navajo for access. Page is about 2 hours from Bryce Canyon and I strongly urge you to take the time to visit Antelope Canyon. If you get to Page and have the time, I also recommend you book a guide to take you to White Pockets, in the Coyote Buttes area. It's also not to be missed.

If you still have the Sony 18-55mm, I'd like to buy it. You can reach me at gidrech@yahoo.com. Thanks.

I've used Weebly for a couple of years for my rental home business and it works great. Very easy to use. Very easy to upload photos of the homes for rent as well as add new pages. Our site is GarcoHomes.com if you'd like to check out an ultra basic site. I'm not sure how effective it would be for a photo site, if that's what you have in mind, but my guess is it'll work fine.

I got one recently and LOVE it! Epson often has good sale prices on paper and the inks are cheap on eBay ($15 vs $80 retail). Go for it. Epson did have a $50 rebate off a $299 price on their website, which is a great deal if it's still on.

For $500 plus shipping I bought a Sigma lens from a UHH member that retails for over $1000. We were both a bit apprehensive about getting ripped off and I suppose we could have been, but we were careful about delivery and payment and it worked out well for both of us. In my opinion, the likelihood of getting ripped off here is substantially less than Craigslist, unless you do it face to face.

I think almost all politicians are liars and have no fondness for Obama. But what's even worse than lying politicans are ignorant people that dispense false information. If you checked Snopes, or any other verification site, you'd know that the drivel both your rants of today claim is true, are not. Don't just pass on the BS you wish was the truth without really checking it first. Ignorance is what's going to help drive this country down the drain. Smarten up!

I just printed my first image on a new Epson 1430 and compared it to the same image printed on an HP6500 all in one printer/fax, etc. As I expected, the Epson print was of considerably better quality and definition. However, the colors were off a bit. Specifically, the greens were more brownish than they should have been. Could this be because I used refurbished ink cartridges as opposed to original Epson ink? Is there a concensus on the accuracy of colors on refurbished versus remanufactured cartridges? I could pop out the refurbished and replace them with the Epson ink, but I hate to waste brand new cartridges only to find that the cause is something else.

I'm a Sony user too, mostly because I started with a Minolta SRT 101 and stuck with Minolta-Konica products due to the ability to use the lenses I already had. My interest is mostly landscape and wildlife photography and my DSLR experience started with the Konica DiMage, then the Sony A100 and now the A65. It has so many bells and whistles I'll never use because the benefits/rewards of the learning curve is so steep. The most important thing is the superb quality of the images. I use my A65 with a Tamron 10-24mm, a Sony 18-70mm, a Quantaray 70-300 and a Sigma 170-500mm. I haven't printed mazny shots but just got an Epson 1430 and hope my feelings about the quality of Sony images doesn't change as I start printing some up.

I've read a bit about the savings in using a CISS rather than the super expensive cartridges for an Epson 1400. Overall the reviews are positive in regards to huge savings in the price of ink, but there are also some problems with print heads clogging, etc. Do any of you have experiences with any CISS you'd like to share?

Robeng, your photos are awesome. Page and the surrounding area are among my all time favorite locations. I checked your smugmug page and you have a great photographer's eye. If you get a chance to visit White Pockets in South Coyote Buttes, don't miss it.
