Wow, owning a truck escalated into:
Testosterone filled, aggressive, clean with no scratches (didn't know that was a bad thing), stressed out driver that has a low paying job with the following other attributes: Uses some weird slogan, likes NASCAR, listens to Ted Nugent, owns a boat.

If you ever wonder what is wrong with this forum, it is people that are quick to judge others simply for owning or using things that others don't approve of. I have slowed down my activity here over the past several months because of this toxicity throughout the entire forum. There is a small group of individuals who I truly enjoy conversing with, but for the most part, this forum will die off with it's aging members because people are just bitter and nasty with each other here.

I don't know who specifically you are talking about, but the few that I follow on YouTube, Insta, etc.... have a specific style yes. But I would hardly call that a rut as they have defined their style and remain consistent in their delivery. Of course all of them have mentioned that they have, at times, fallen into a lull of sorts, but they go back to their older film cameras, change up their video content and other things to re-invigorate them.

I think it's important to see some of our inspirational personalities go through these periods in honest dialogue, because as a hobbyist I certainly have those feelings as well at times.

Yeah, Mac and Paul provided the big issue with using a CPL during action photography. As you move the camera around the polarizing effect will change as the relationship to the sun changes giving you inconsistent results. For us slow moving landscape folks that isn't much of an issue.

I rarely present these, but you have earned it my friend. Take care and make sure you close out the account fully so you aren't tempted back to this horrible place. You are too good for the likes of us!

I've found that computers and the internet to be to unreliable to use for repetitive bill paying. Auto withdrawl is OK. To get their money, they'll never screw that up. Going paperless billing on a computer is just way to unreliable, and can cause missed payments.

I don't sign up for paperless bills. I like to have a paper copy of the bills and if they didn't send it to me I would have to print it myself. And I don't have a lot of confidence in the Internet to not go down. However, I do pay the bills electronically through my bank. Some of the bills I get don't have the return envelope because I pay electronically.

Sorry Ed, but the same internet that sends your paperless bill is the same internet that transmits your electronic payment information.

But I do understand what you are saying. More and more companies are starting to send the e-bill directly to your bank so there is even less issues with email delivery to worry about.

I see it as more of a convenience to me and couldn't care less about their savings. These days most of my bills (not all) populate directly into my online banking section. The bank/companies have specific agreements to send electronic bills to the banking institution so you have notifications on a banking app, due date, and most importantly the amount on the bill. If I need to view the bill their is a hyperlink in my banking app to view the bill directly if I have questions.

The other companies that do not have those agreements send the bill via email and may include one extra step to pay online.

*Disclaimer * This only applies if you want to conduct online banking, if that is not your preference or desire, then however you manage bills is perfectly fine as well.

I use a Manfrotto 190 Carbon Fiber tripod coupled with a RRS BH-40 Ball Head and it holds my 5D and 100-400 lens just fine. It may not be completely backpack friendly, but it is def small enough to attach to the outside of a camera backpack.

Here on the Florida Panhandle we get some pretty windy days along the coast, and it seems that when I'm using my 100-400 lens it does get a a little shaky in the strongest gusts of wind, but at that point with a lens that size I don't think much would stop it from shaking slightly when zoomed out to 400.

I presume in your old age you have given up reading altogether? Do you have your nurse do your bidding on UHH since it is apparent you have gone nearly blind. I wish you well in the nursing home---seriously--that would be the best decision for this phase of your life symptoms and comprehension? But don't take these words harshly---I didn't take notice of your snarky remarks above---I just expected them from the likes of disruptors like you and a few other trolls on this site. Have a good evening. Good health to you in a nursing home.------

I'm not even close to retirement age yet, but I'll give you credit for trying. I would leave emojis, but you may not see them depending on which browser you use.

"Maybe not just commerce" (you say) ------but in my situation I can navigate---Walmart--Swanson--Amazon and the others and fill the baskets---but only at checkout do the "buttons having to do with checkout and payment" don't register. Everything else not needing commercial security works just fine with my not-updated browsers. But I then log in with the MYPAL browser to check out.

You are what I call an untrainable asset. We used to recycle those to deck division in the Navy and just let them paint for the rest of their enlistment. You have not understood a single thing any of us have tried to explain, so have fun eating crayons.

HAVE YOU HEARD OF A TYPO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do probably more video with codecs than you so keep your remarks about typos to yourself. As for merchandising security---you are the expert---I don't have to give the lingo---that is up to you. But one by one sites I purchase from no longer would go to checkout with a full basket of items. I call that merchandising security. You can label it anything you like. That only happened--one by one in a few months last year. But I make my purchases from Walmart, Swanson Supplements, Amazon and the others which changed their scripting using the MYPAL browser now. Three cheers for XP-Pro-SP3 and Panasonic Toughbook laptops which never crash or go bad.-----ew

It's SSL encryption, and ALL sites are slowly migrating to it, not just commerce. So <broken record> upgrade your stuff or be left out. It's that easy.
