I walked mine into Nikon yesterday, they said it would be about week to repair.
This is a cutting jig I have used in production shops for years. If you have many cuts to make it is fast and fairly accurate while protecting the material from the crappy saws the shops supplied. That being said still have to store this somewhere and storage space in my shop/garage is a premium.
Is that the Otter exhibit at the LA Zoo?
Look up Sonny Bono Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge. I shot these near there in March Last year

The images are gorgeous! But I can't help but think you enhanced the colors a bit. In an effort to learn, I wonder what you used.
I did run my raw images through Photoshop and I don't remember what I did to them, but this jpeg is straight from my d7000
The peacocks are getting a little frisky at LA Arboretum
Thanks for the nice comments! This was a great fun for myself and a small group standing on our tiptoes for the best view of a once in a lifetime experience (for us anyway).
While visiting San Diego Safari Park I was lucky enough to witness and photograph a giraffe being born. From a 6ft drop on it's head to walking away in about an hour.

This was shot from a rooftop in downtown Los Angeles starting at 11pm until the cloud cover came in
These are taken on two different days in almost the same spot. Of the first two, the 1st was taken at 500mm, the 2nd was at 200mm with three very large slow side steps away from him to get him in frame. He was right next to the trail I was on behind a bush, I walked right up next to him before I saw him!
Every step revealed more big horn sheep, there were around 40 in the canyon with 8 babies.

Great photo. Where was it taken.
It was at the Los Angeles Zoo. My avatar is one of the happier members of the troop there.
It's time to set out the jack o'lantern
