I've been there but not in the fall. Awesome place for photos

Did the camera record the photos to begin with? I'm assuming yes. Do NOT continue to use the card and do not reformat it. Check out this link to see if any of these products can help. Others who have faced this (I have not except with a phone around 10 years ago.) may have specific suggestions.

I agree totally with this post. DO NOT USE THIS CARD UNTIL YOU HAVE THE CORRECT RECOVER PROGRAM IN PLACE

Very impressive. I'd like to know the region you live in and what kind of plants you recommend. I have 3 Sedum plants that are ready to bloom in full color and are currently attracting honey bees and bumble bees

Amazing pictures. I like especially the waterfall shutter speed. Lots of folks make the flowing water look like some sort of mystic mist. I like to see some motion blur but also see the droplets - perfect

I have a bunch of film cameras - several Canon T90's an a1 av1 and two at-1s. Then Pentax k-1000 along with a neat zoom lens by Tamron. I also have several digital cameras but my first love is my collection of film cameras

Yes. Any serious photographer should have a good set of lens wrenches

I agree completely. My most used tripod is small, and light...I would have considered it flimsy 5 years ago.

I respectively disagree. If you are going to use a tripod use one that is stable enough to take stacking images for dynamic range enhancement. Otherwise, maybe image stabilization might be good enough

Hi, I could not export any photos from LR yesterday so I called Adobe. I got a person in India who went into my computer. He tried to export some files by email but couldn’t. So he removed the current update and installed an earlier. Now when I look at my current photos they have the exclamation mark! Is it because of loosing the current update the new recent photos cannot be found? They will call me back today with an expert to help fix the issue, but I thought I’d get your opinion about this.
Secondly I bought a new MacBook Pro. Should I make a new catalog as I don’t want to drag the old stuff around to the new MacBook. My catalogue at present is backed up by a 2TB Sandisk ssd. I like to get your opinion on how to do get LR and PS on my new 16”
MacBook Pro without dragging the old catalogue in. I am expecting a call from them this morning. Just want to know so he doesn’t mess me up again!
Thanks for your help.
Hi, I could not export any photos from LR yesterda... (show quote)

One word: "CLONE" your SSD or HD. That way if you get this sort of "help" you can go back to the original OS and start over again with another "helper."

If you don't know how to clone, learn how to. It saved my bacon several times.

Canon EF-S 10-18mm IS STM would be really nice to have for wider scenic shots.

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM would be a great short tele for portraits and low light conditions.

Both of those are compact, lightweight lenses. Neither is expensive, either.

If it were me, I'd put a small flash and a set of macro extension tubes in my bag, too.

Agree. With the Canon EF-S 10 - 18 you could do some nice panoramics by cropping the top and bottom centering the field of interest in the middle. This would be nice on any river shots.

In addition to what you already have, get a 300mm. You already have a nice bottom end on your zoom. If you are traveling with company, take along a nice portrait with macro feature for some nice personal portraits. You never can tell what kind of closeups you can get on any trip.
