Be very careful when buying/using an e-flash as some will actually burn out the electronics in the camera if not a compatible fit.

Haha! Got you beat I learned using a Kodak box camera then moved up to a Brownie! Started developing the b&w film from
them myself self taught from library books. That's when I realized the real joy of photography. Started at twelve years old
and still going at 75!!!!

More power to ya!

Yes I have to agree! It's like all that expensive equipment will make them great photographers.
I also would say most people buy a camera and never fully comprehend what that camera can do.
Rather than learn by using the camera they are too busy reading articles for a better whatever!
Like any other activity there are those who actually want to buy the peripheral equipment and stare
at it like a treasure and expound on what it will do for them. Get out and take the pictures. Learn
all you can about the camera with practical experience. You will master different steps as you go along.

My very best to you,
Jim K.

My goodness if your computer is upgradable for additional memory and a better graphics card don't buy another one!
One might realize the speed of the motherboard as a greater consideration of buying another computer. If existing is 2.7 or above it's fine!
More so a larger CRT is a wise consideration, Acer makes fine CRTs. I have 3 running using 2 graphic cards. Fabulous!!
Also a good scanner is useful and doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. I use EPSON with great results. I normally use a canon SLR
for color and fine art pics. And use my wonderful Hasselblad for B&W. I develop my 70mm negs, scan them and print with canon 100
printer for incredible fine prints. Again before you buy another computer realize the potential and very affordable hardware upgrades
available. I have rebuilt and upgraded several computers found at the dump that were clean like new and upgraded as I stated to super computers.
Best Wishes,
Jim K.
