I don't know about the mounts for Canon cameras. I am a Nikon person. Sorry. I need to also write that all the lenses are clean; no fungus, no scratch, no haze. Thanks for your response.

I am selling these lenses for a photography friend who passed away. I would prefer to sell them as a lot. They were used with a Canon camera. Paypal and CONUS only. I am asking $1200 for all three of them plus shipping.

#1. Leitz Canada ver II, 135mm, f2.8 plus UV filter. Ser#: 3.105.839
Condition: excellent, no haze, no fungus, no scratch. The outside of the built-in lens hood has a couple of
usage marks.

#2. Leitz Wetzlar Macro-Elmarit-R, 60mm, f2.8 plus UV filter. Ser#: 2.723.434

#3. Leitz Canada Summicron R, 50mm, f2.0 plus UV filter. Ser#: 3,111.630

I posted this scam alert several years ago. This is so insidious I thought I should remind everyone of the dangers out there.

Women often receive warnings about protecting themselves at the mall and in dark parking lots, etc. This is the first warning I have seen for men. I wanted to pass it on in case you haven't heard about it. This will only become more commonplace as the weather warms.

A 'heads up' for those men who may be regular Lowe's, Home Depot, or Costco customers. This one caught me by surprise.

Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends.

Here's how the scam works: Two seriously good-looking 20-something girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say 'No' and instead ask you for a ride to McDonalds.

You agree and they get into the back seat. On the way, they start undressing. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts crawling all over you, while the other one steals your wallet. I had my wallet stolen November 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, 24th, & 29th. Also December 1st & 4th, twice on the 8th, 16th, 23rd, 26th & 28th, three times last Monday and very likely again this upcoming weekend.

So tell your friends to be careful. What a horrible way to take advantage of older men. Warn your friends to be vigilant.

Wal-Mart has wallets on sale for $2.99 each. I found cheaper ones for $1.99 at K- Mart and bought them out. Also, you never will get to eat at McDonalds. I've already lost 11 pounds just running back and forth to Lowe's, Home Depot, and Costco.

Must have enjoyed it for having "suffered" so many times.

ect: Essential info from JOHNS HOPKINS HOSPITAL

The following is from Irene Ken physician, whose daughter is an Asst. Prof in infectious diseases at Johns Hopkins University, quite informative.

* The virus is not a living organism, but a protein molecule (DNA) covered by a protective layer of lipid (fat), which, when absorbed by the cells of the ocular, nasal or buccal mucosa, changes their genetic code. (mutation) and convert them into aggressor and multiplier cells.

* Since the virus is not a living organism but a protein molecule, it is not killed, but decays on its own. The disintegration time depends on the temperature, humidity and type of material where it lies.

* The virus is very fragile; the only thing that protects it is a thin outer layer of fat. That is why any soap or detergent is the best remedy, because the foam CUTS the FAT (that is why you have to rub so much: for 20 seconds or more, to make a lot of foam).

By dissolving the fat layer, the protein molecule disperses and breaks down on its own.

* HEAT melts fat; this is why it is so good to use water above 25 degrees Celsius for washing hands, clothes and everything. In addition, hot water makes more foam and that makes it even more useful.

* Alcohol or any mixture with alcohol over 65% DISSOLVES ANY FAT, especially the external lipid layer of the virus.

* Any mix with 1 part bleach and 5 parts water directly dissolves the protein, breaks it down from the inside.

* Oxygenated water helps long after soap, alcohol and chlorine, because peroxide dissolves the virus protein, but you have to use it pure and it hurts your skin.

* NO BACTERICIDE OR ANTIBIOTIC SERVES. The virus is not a living organism like bacteria; antibodies cannot kill what is not alive.

* NEVER shake used or unused clothing, sheets or cloth. While it is glued to a porous surface, it is very inert and disintegrates only -between 3 hours (fabric and porous),
-4 hours (copper and wood)
-24 hours (cardboard),
- 42 hours (metal) and
-72 hours (plastic).

But if you shake it or use a feather duster, the virus molecules float in the air for up to 3 hours, and can lodge in your nose.

* The virus molecules remain very stable in external cold, or artificial as air conditioners in houses and cars.

They also need moisture to stay stable, and especially darkness. Therefore, dehumidified, dry, warm and bright environments will degrade it faster.

* UV LIGHT on any object that may contain it breaks down the virus protein. For example, to disinfect and reuse a mask is perfect. Be careful, it also breaks down collagen (which is protein) in the skin.

* The virus CANNOT go through healthy skin.

* Vinegar is NOT useful because it does not break down the protective layer of fat.

* NO SPIRITS, NOR VODKA, serve. The strongest vodka is 40% alcohol, and you need 65%.

* LISTERINE IF IT SERVES! It is 65% alcohol.

* The more confined the space, the more concentration of the virus there can be. The more open or naturally ventilated, the less.

* You have to wash your hands before and after touching mucosa, food, locks, knobs, switches, remote control, cell phone, watches, computers, desks, TV, etc. And when using the bathroom.

* You have to HUMIDIFY HANDS DRY from so much washing them, because the molecules can hide in the micro cracks. The thicker the moisturizer, the better.

* Also keep your NAILS SHORT so that the virus does not hide there.

Excellent portrait. I like the shallow DOF so that the primary subject is beautifully lifted. I also liked the reflection in the sunglass lens. Very well done. Outstanding.

A beautiful image as usual. But I wonder if brightening the top frond would offer a slightly better color contrast.

I agree with retired CPO. It's an excuse to call myself an "artist" when I can't do anything else in "real" art. My consolation is that I thoroughly enjoy. And, on occasion, I even produce satisfying images. That's enough for me.

Suggestions, please. I am a hobbyist photographer with no plans of ever charging for my work. I have beautiful grandchildren and love dressing them up and photographing them. I have a d7100 and 5 Nikon mount lenses that will fit full frame. I also have a Sony a 6000 with 4 lenses. I shoot with natural light and am getting so much noise with both cameras, I feel it is affecting the quality of the photos and editing capabilities. I don't want to invest a huge amount of money ($1000's) but feel it's time for an upgrade. I'm considering the d750 or the d810 and would consider the used market. In my case, what would you recommend? Would you be comfortable buying from ebay? What should I look out for other than seller's history? Thanks in advance!

I also have the Nikon D810 that I no longer use and would be willing to sell. It comes with a very low shutter count of 2550, a 28-200 Tamron lens, a battery grip, and battery charger, and the strap. Cards are not included. It is ready to go. I am thinking of selling it for $900. If you are interested contact me on my email: gpogany@ymail.com.

The white snow causes you to under expose.

This may offer some consolation. Ansel Adams said that the most difficult subject for him to properly photograph was SNOW.
