I shoot with both. But use my DSLR for most photography. Way more options, control, lenses. Love my phone for when there's a picture I want and that's all I have.

I've been taking bird and wildlife photos with my Nikon 300mm F4 for a few years now and it's doing a great job. I also use a teleconverter that brings me up to 420mm at 5.6. But, alas, I want more reach. Right now my top two contenders are the Nikon 200-500 or the Tamron 150-600 g2. I love my Nikon glass, but I know I will want more, so I tilt towards the Tamron.

Also, I do like my prime and I get great results with it. I noticed Nikon has a 500mm f5.6 prime out there, but it costs over twice as much as the 2-500. Sigma also has a few long lenses not outrageously over priced, but just quite expensive, like a 300-800mm 5.6, a 500mm 5.6, and an 80mm 5.6.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with any of these lenses, I'd love to get your thoughts.

Oh yea, I upgraded from my D7200 to a Z-6 ~ it's awesome.

I just got the sigma 150-600 and so far love it.

You're allowed a carry-on and a personal bag. I just bought my carry-on. I checked the dimensions on 5 different airlines, they vary from airline to airline. I pick the smallest one. That way I can use the case no matter where I fly. You're also allowed a personal carry. That is my backpack. My camera gear goes in the carry-on suitcase my other stuff goes in my personal backpack.

Love the last one did you hold the shutter open a little bit to get those clouds look like that?

I used my 55-250 then a 24mm pancake before I got 2 macro lens which are great for flowers. I use them a lot for that. I have a 35mm and a 105mm I'm hoping for some cool bug pics when I travel later. Not much bugs here in San Diego

I drove to Alaska from San Diego in September. The weather was perfect. During the summer there are a lot of mosquitoes.

I use a Nikon 105 f2.8 Micro lens most of the time but occasionally us a Nikon 24-85 lens.

I use a 35 mm canon macro with light ring and a 24mm canon fixed pancake. Just got a sigma 105 macro yesterday, have yet to take it for a spin. Is quite heavy.
