Haze63, I’m tired of renting long lenses. What is your bottom dollar if you still have it?
There are three categories of people who handle guns and/or cameras a lot. Those who are going to drop them, those who have dropped them, and those of us who are going to drop them again! Glad your lens was okay!
Thanks for your input. I’ll let you know how the 500 worked when we get back home.
I know, opinions are like noses and every one has one however, would you rent the Nikon 500 F/5.6 E AF-S PF ED VR or the Nikon 200-400 F/4G AF-S ED UR II to shoot wildlife and eagles. Both lens are twice the price I usually rent the Tameron 150 x 600 G2 for. A Nikon 80 x 300 is my walk around lens. All information is appreciated and thank you in advance for your time.
Horseart, truer words were never spoken. Horses do make better kids!
Merry Christmas to you, Doc!
Can you believe how lucky I was!
Situations like this is when I really, really wish I was a photographer!
Haydon, thank you! This is why
I always come to UHH.
I am thinking of purchasing an Nikon AFS TC-20E III teleconverter. A Nikon 750 with a Nikon ED AF-S 28x300 Nikkor is my everyday setup. My line of thought is that it would be much easier for my old _ss to haul around a 12oz converter as opposed to a 6 pound lens! I need the pros and cons please.
Welcome, lawdog! I spent 27 years behind a badge so your service is much appreciated.
repleo, thank you for your quick response.
John F, thank you for your advice!
