I order from Vista Print. You upload your photo and create the card you want. Not award winning photo quality but still pretty good. I found this less expensive than my own ink, paper, etc.
I have used Photoshop and switched to Corel’s Paintshop. It does what I need and I don’t have to get a PHD in photo manipulation to use it. As others have said, just use whatever works for you!
I agree with the O’Keeffe suggestion. Go to Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch area for sure. I just participated in an O’Keeffe Immersion workshop and learned a lot about her husband, Alfred Steglitz and his photography. Everywhere you turn are more shooting opportunities. Enjoy!
I really like the Busch books. He seems to really strive to understand the camera he writes about and pass that along.
