The first lens is the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Lens

The second one is the Nikon 80-400 f/4.5-5.6D ED "VR" Lens. This has no lens motor and is not the “S” version. The focus is driven by the camera motor.

Nikon 200-500 f/5.6 - $885; mint, hood, bag, tripod collar, box. No marks or smudges on body or glass …. very clean. Has seen very little use and stored in padded case.

Nikon 80-400 vr f/4.5-5.6 - $400; mint-, hood, case, tripod collar, box. Also has seen little use and there are no marks on the body or glass. The rubber focus and zoom rings have slight graying do to age but function smoothly. This is the generation 1 VR and works well. This is not S version. Your camera must have a screw drive motor to autofocus this lens. Focus is precise but not to as fast as current S lenses.

The most effective way to look at B&W photography it is that you "throw away" all those colors when those colors get in the way of the image. It does sound a bit "artsy" but it really clarifies for me the decision to shoot or convert to black and white. We see in color... so when it comes to images there should be a very good reason why you are showing me a b&w photograph. Without color, the photograph has to be that much stronger in the other dimension of an image... composition, texture, tonality, point of interest, drama and on and on.
