Discussing printers yesterday, someone mentioned his Epson ET-7700, which prints on discs. Unfortunately, it's no longer available.

Browsing through YouTube last night, I came across a video about it. Tech Moan posted a video five years ago about his new ET-7700. One quick shot showed a list of its features, including being able to print on discs, but that was all that Epson said about that feature. The narrator threw in at the end that it also prints on discs, "If anyone still uses them."

Of course, people use discs! Apparently, companies think that the number of people who want to print on discs is too small to include that feature in their printers, so cost-cutting wins out over customer service. I'm tempted to buy another disc printer before they are no longer available.
