While not an invention, discovering how light and optics function and interact.
I’m still waiting for someone to figure out how cows can give chocolate milk.
From brown cows, of course😇
Photodoc, that sounds like a fantastic experience! Amazing how a little critter can sometimes make you forget about all the troubles in the world…at least for a little while!😃

What a happy baby! Are their bristles soft when they are young?
Their spines are “shielded” during birth but soon emerge & are sharp. If you hold them gently, you’re fine. They are adorable!
From another site. Thought it was cute enough to share.
Light-hearted, often predictable who-done-it mysteries in a quaint setting with some good vintage reggae. Hilarious at times, much of the humor is culturally subtle and I find it a nice series to unwind with, and reminisce on, growing up in the Caribbean. Definitely a fan, Jerry!
Good one, Mark. You’re in fine form this morning!🤣
Sorry…could not resist!😇
The real question is there any advantage or disadvange to using the camera or L-bracket connections for a camera strap
FWIW, I think it’s going to boil down to personal preference. I like my camera & lens pointing down along my side, so my sling strap is connected to a camera lug & the tripod socket. It works for me especially with a heavier lens. Some folks use the 2 lugs, some use only the tripod socket, others an L-bracket. The main advantage of my setup: if one connection breaks, the other prevents the camera from falling. My 2 cents
You hit the nail in the head, Jerry. Like you, over the years I’d spent a small fortune on cheap or mediocre tools in an effort to be frugal. Penny wise, pound foolish! A few years ago, I got fed up and invested in Milwaukee and haven’t regretted a moment! Expensive outlay but, like photography, invest in a system and enjoy the dividends!
I agree with you, Mark:the US Open was fabulous and quite entertaining! I was touched by Leylah’s tribute to 9/1. Both young ladies were exemplary in play and speech. Your pics capture their personalities perfectly! Thanks for sharing
No rhyme for ‘purple’ either!😀
Use a click pen, draw either figure, retract the nib, drag the point, extend nib & draw the next figure.
DM’d you. I’ll take this if still available. Thanks

What a lovely surprise! Also, it motivated you to grab a camera and shoot.
Yes! And any inspiration/excuse nowadays is welcome!😊
Woke up this morning to this bloom!
