Sorry I have use my Better Beamer for over 4 years, so I can't help you. Dubin
After being part UHH since August, 24, 2011, I have decided to say good-by for many reasons. Initially I have gained some knowledge, shared my experiences and photos, and made some new friends. I think the Admin people who are responsible are not doing a very good job of listening to the users, and providing adequate controls for this forum. I have been finding more and more people getting obnoxious, not adhering to the rules, and really don't care if they do. I belong to other forums where these issues don't exist. So in the future, I'll being spending my time participating with these other forums. Good luck to all that stay with UHH, and I hope things improve. Arnold
Thank you very much for your comments. I think the contrast of the photos weren't up to par in these photos because I has poor lighting to contend with.

Love the shots...I am a big equestrian fan, rode for many many years. I like the second shot...with the almost white background the horse and rider really stand out. Maybe it is my screen but one thing I noticed with # 2 and # 3 is they look a bit washed out like they need more contrast. But, like I said perhaps it is my screen and yours is better. Otherwise great captures of the moments.
Welcome to UUH. I have found it very interesting and informative. I just live down the road from you in Indialantic. Arnold
Actually I used Nik Color EFEX Pro 4 to enhance the first photo. Arnold

I like the first one the best. It almost looks like an HDR.
I'm using LR4 now for about a week now and found it was the worth $75 upgrade price. This biggest change I saw was in the Development Module. Arnold
This past Saturday I went to Wellington Equestrian Center to photograph young people jumping their horses.

A Nikon D300S with a Nikon 70-200mm f-2.8 VR lens and a 1.4X Nikon Teleconverter was used to take all these photos. Lightroom 4 was used to do all my post processing.

On some cameras it also increases the frames rate per second rate. Arnold
I like your 3rd photo the best because it is the sharpest, has good colors, and the composition is good too. Arnold
Rob, I'm consider buying the Velbonb focus rail. Click on this link

Once again I return to the source of so much good advice and information!
I recently got a Tamron macro lens for my Sony Alpha 500 and want to get a focusing rail for it.
Granted, you often get what you pay for, but with prices varying so widely I need some assistance. Don't want to buy junk, but also don't want to spend more than I have to on a "BMW" when a nice little Honda Accord would suite my purposes.
Can I expect to find a well build, smooth rail for under $150.00?
Any suggestions re: features, brands, etc. greatly appreciated.
Rob

I've only seen the Bald Eagle in my area but I'd love to see other eagles as well on this thread. The American Bald Eagle is majestic and symbolic! I look forward to seeing your images of this gorgeous bird.
