Sony a6600, 1/2000th, F5.6, ISO 500. The lens is a Sony 18-135mm. It was probably close to 100mm.

A proud Grandparent weekend. My 13-year-old granddaughter had a great tournament. She won the HR Derby in her age bracket, was 2-0 as a pitcher, hit .750 for the tournament, was a member of the 1st place team in her bracket, and was selected to the All-Tournament team (only 13 of over 500 girls at the tournament made it).

Last at bat was a 2-run triple.

Was at that spot in February. Hopefully, Mother Nature will make a full recovery. Lovely place and lovely people. Pray they recover well.

Great pictures! I have the same ones -- was there in early February. And yes, it is a magnificent place and very windy. Thanks.

I have tried a Canon 70-200 with a Metabones adapter (was using it on my a6600), and, it worked perfectly. So it must be the lens. Same non-focus issues with the lens on the a6600.

Thanks. I'm about an hour (considering traffic) away. Might give a call.

I have one from a California shop for $295 parts and $150 labor. Can get an excellent used copy from mbps for $459. Probably looking in the mbp direction.

It finally happened. I dropped my Sony a6000 with a Sony 4/18-105 lens attached while taking photos of Granddaughter at a softball tournament. I didn't believe it hit too hard from about 18" to the ground. I guess it did since it will no longer focus. I tried it on my Sony a6600 with the same result, so it is the lens not the camera. I bought it used from a UHHer about 3 years ago. Great walk-around for trips. Should I try to have it repaired, or just look for a replacement? If repaired -- with whom? I'm in Delaware. No warranty since it was purchased from an individual.

Thanks in advance.

I was downloading pictures form our latest Myrtle Beach trip -- before the COVID-19 hit the area. The photo is not the best, but you never know what you might get.

Thanks for the advice. I really had not considered selling the Canons, but it does make sense. I am more inclined to use the Sony cameras, so I will look into making the change. KEH, MPB, B & H, Adorama, here I come (maybe even ebay).

Do I purchase a Metabones adapter for my Canon lenses (EF 85mm/f1.8, EF 24-70mm/f2.8, EF 50mm/1.8, 28-135/f3.5-5.6 and 70-200mm/f2.8) to work with my Sony a6000 and a6600; or, do I look for a lens to supplement my Sony lenses (18-105mm/f4, 50mm/f1.8, and 30mm/f1.4). I like the Sony cameras for travel. My Canon cameras (6D and EOS SL3) are a bit larger, even though the SL3 is rather light weight. I would like to take two cameras with lenses mounted, not change lenses all the time for whatever scene I am trying to photograph. The Sony with the 18-105 is my go-to for trips, now. I believe a lens with more reach, mounted on either Sony might be what I am looking for.

Any constructive help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
