I just read today an article in which Grand County in which Moab resides has approved the developer's request. Form the article it appears the development is for the very rich people, i.e. $2,000 per night. Hopefully enough people can get together to stop this development.

I converted some old videos on IMemories.com. Not too bad if you wait for a sale. They just had a 50% off sale for Labor Day. The quality is based on the quality of your 8mm movies.
Take your best pics and upload them to an account you can set up for yourself in familysearch.org. You can then add memories why the pic is important to you. Your dependents can the set up their own accounts and link them to yours and your favorite pics will be preserved forever.
I use quicken and love it as I use it for budgeting and stock portfolio. To me its worth the annual fee. However, I do believe Mint by intuit is still free for a basic version.
You can purchase Turbo Tax Deluxe at Costco right now for $29.95, if you need one state (which does not include state filing-its extra) then you can purchase it at Costco for $39.95. You won't find a better bargain than that and you get the CD to load on your computer assuming you have a cd drive.
I live in the Seattle area - so I should know the answer to this - but I don't. I have a friend who is a guitar player visiting from out of town and I want to do a portrait session (with guitar) with him. I want to do something non-touristy (no Space Needle shots) - maybe even a little "gritty." I was thinking of old train stations, old hotels under renovation, cool alleyways, rough construction sites...... Can be indoors or outdoors. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.
