Looking at buying Nikon 200-500 lens that weighs 5lbs. That on my d850 will be quite a load. Are there any suggestions of how to carry this load afield? I will be using monopod/tripod for photos.

Take a look at cross body style made by custom slr. Attaches to tripod socket . Makes carrying my d850 comfortable. A very convenient system.

I was in Havana last October on a cruise ship. Very scenic city. Look for churches they will have their bells in front on sidewalk. Canons are repurposed as street bollards. Lots of music throughout city so musicians are great photo ops. Ask before taking. Watch out for youngs ladies selling flowers in traditional dress. They wil run up and kiss you then want money. You can take photos but you'll have to pay. There are two currencies. You have to change dollars to pesos . These are tourist monies eighty cents to dollar. Some places will take our dollar but very leery. Add to do not take is police officers. Place to go is "original" Sloppy Joes. Still decorated as it was in the fifties. Great shots to be had. Have a mojito and a Cuban sloppy joe. So good. People are very nice. Have a great time.

I have a tokina 100mm macro lens . It has a screw drive AF that works fine. The problem is that it won’t work with the camera’s focus stack feature . Focus stack works with Nikon lenses. Any ideas on why the tokina won’t?

Works ok. Paid for app through their program that did not work. Spent a frustrating week dealing with tech support. Final day... tech forgot appointment . Called company and they said I had to file a claim to fix problem. That was the final straw so I requested my money back. That meant a different claim to their resolution center. Oh well, I could go on . Bottom line is that thanks to PayPal I got a refund. Stay away from

Be warned that loading plugins through their program can be problematic. The biggest problem comes with tech support. Very poor. Have to make appointment and they do not keep it. When requesting refund sent to sites that did not work. Thank God for PayPal. Corel is the biggest joke.

What ever you do stay away from Corel aftershot. The biggest problem if you purchase a plugin, to improve your editing, it will crash the program. Working with tech support is very frustrating and when the solution is not found and you request a refund they say,”Can’t do that because that is a third party app.”
Be forewarned do not buy this....

My experience with the Corel Company should stand as a warning to anyone looking to use their product. I had after shot pro and it worked ok. My problems started with downloading their plugin. Through their program they listed perfectly clear plugin as 19.95 and charged me full price of $69. Problem was the plugin would not install and caused my program to crash. I worked with tech support for eight days and finally got to the "last" try of a remote session to repair my problem. The tech choose to ignore our scheduled session and after an hour wait to start I contacted corel. The tech finally contacted me an hour and a half later. By this time time I was fed up. I contacted corel and requested a refund for the plugin. The corel rep said it was a third party app and couldn't help me even though money went to Corel. I am now currently going through the refund process with my card.
Bottom line is if it works then good for you. If you have a problem then be forewarned.....

I was an active photographer that (for me personally) made the mistake of turning my hobby into a business. I worked all types of work from wedding to legal photography. My, I hate to say most awkward job was shooting a funeral. After ten years I grew weary from the hustle and sold all my gear to focus on my full time career.
Anyways now retired and shooting a dSLR (previous work was all film). I have re- ignited my love of taking pictures. So... being new to digital I am looking for information on making my hobby a fun experience. Again.....
