I quit herding cats a number of years ago, after shooting about 200 weddings. I never had a particular problem with the bride or groom but seemingly none of the attendees would adhere to allowing me to pose the shots and take the flash photos without them blasting away. I sometimes did 3 light setups with old style remote triggers but had to abandon that since the looky loos were continuously discharging my slaved units. To this day I don't miss my decision to quit.

Mike, not sure what you're asking. This little mare has a blonde mane that ends in that little topknot between her ears. Had a hard time getting anything but a straight, dead-on shot of her face. She was so curious about my camera and wanting her ears scratched that she'd move her head straight-on to me as I maneuvered to get a shot.

This horse is part of the herd at a ranch where we target shoot. I believe she saw a picture of Tyrann Mathieu, the "Honey Badger" and really liked his hair style.

Thanks. It was was overcast & I bumped the ISO up to handle having to shoot handheld. I felt the grain was acceptable.

Not easily. Part of program installation registers the various items & .dll's into the operating system so that computer knows how the program "talks" to its various components. Simply copying the files and directory structures does not perform the registration function.

I saw someone using Raid0. Please realize that Raid0 provides NO redundancy against data loss. Regardless of the number of drives employed in a Raid0, if one drive fails, then all data is lost. Always deploy, at a minmum, Raid1 which mirrors 2 like sized drives or better yet, Raid5 which employs a minimum of 3 drives up to 5 or 6 in small deployments. Then remember to back all data up using a cloud based solution like Carbonite, iDrive, etc.

Linda, your first edit does it for me. Brings out a lot of detail, particularly in the grasses. The original is too dark which hides tremendous details.

Burning Oleander also produces toxins that causes breathing difficulties in all living creatures. It's planted all around Houston & Galveston even has an Oleander Festival. Most people don't have a clue how toxic it is.
