You've never fallen asleep in a meeting when someone is droning on and on and not addressing you directly?

I refrain from calling people stupid. But you sure resemble that remark.

I read both articles, I don't see any hard data in either of them. Just writing something down, doesn't make it so. Call me when New York gets an e*****r back.

I agree, over exposed.

Central North Carolina here. I think we were in the 80% coverage range. I would never use a good camera to try and capture an eclipse. I shot this with my cell phone inside my welding helmet. I pinched in quite a bit so the resolution is pretty poor.

Migration is still mostly being done by baby boomers not interested in a******n for themselves.

Migration is still mostly in and out of CA, FL, MI, TX, IL. Reasons are taxes, climate, crime, and job opportunities which is what they've always been.

I moved to TN despite the politics. Many other Illinoisans won't because of the politics. How do you capture those sentiments in the numbers? But the blue to red might change TN, TX and VA to purple. It's happening here!

You're truly not smart enough to get the point I was making. Wealthy woman aren't going to move out of red states just so they can be in a state where a******n services are easier to find. I was attacking the i***tic premise of the OP.

Why? Are fertile women of means in the habit of using a******n as birth control? And are they so enamored with the process that they'd relocate to more easily avail themselves of the service? There's a migration going on and we all know it's blue to red.

Not exactly at the roof anymore - you're using old news to stir up new "the sky is falling" rhetoric.

Inflation is coming down at about the same trajectory as it went up. Energy and food are still the most volatile. Still too high, but I'm hopeful when seeing it trending down as it is. Not fast enough, but there is a fine line between soft landing and recession for this post c***d economy. Yes, it is Bidenomics!

The rate of inflation is coming down. Prices have not and many of the price hikes far outstripped the reported inflation numbers. For example, the bread I used to buy went from $2.69 to $4.89 a loaf.

The courts are going nuts.

This seems like a valid point, but it's really an apples and oranges thing.

Arizona applied a pre-state (territorial) law to an issue that the Supreme Court turned back to a state's law issue. The territorial law happened to be the only law on the books so it stood. The law will be rectified either by the legislature or a b****t initiative. The democratic governor of Arizona wanted this to happen for political reasons.

Colorado tried to interfere at a state level, with a federal e******n and the supreme court decision against that absurdity was 9-0.

My views, for the record, align with pretty much Dr Greer's. ''G****r can be changed but sex can't be changed'', more or less. She's given this a lot more thought than most people. So direct physical competition is unfair.

Hard to believe you could somehow bring Trump into this discussion. It must be an illness.

I think the outrage that men are infiltrating and dominating women's college sports is warranted and I bet there are quite a few folks on the left that agree us righties.

All Lia Thomas had to do to start competing as a woman was to take testosterone blockers for a year and show "her" levels had decreased below a certain threshold.

Even if she had fully t***sitioned with bottom surgery, she would have maintained her male skeletal geometry, her 6'4" height, wide shoulders and most of her muscle mass. At the same time her estrogen treatments would have given her a boost in endurance.

In most sports a t***s woman has many advantages over a biological woman. Scientists know that the male skeleton is just designed to run better and faster than the female's. The physiology of a woman's pelvis that may assist her in giving birth causes her gait to be less efficient. In recreational runners the advantage to males is miniscule, but when you're talking about college scholarship level sports, there is no way a biologic female can compete with a t***s female on the track.

The NCAA needs to get their act together and stop this nonsense.

Somewhat true I guess, but you have to admit it's impossible for a thread to provoke thought when its creation is devoid of thought.

I've got a better question. Are you capable of going one day without starting another stupid thread? Is this an anti-Mexican thread, an anti-Catholic thread, or both?

BTW, the nice thing about capitalism is you're not forced to buy things you don't want. California should remember that.

To be fair, Fox had guests that told lies. If all was fair in love and news coverage, what Fox got fined for would put CNN and MSNBC so far underwater that they'd have to shut down. Everyone does it, but only Fox get's penalized for it.

You sure Lia Thomas isn’t still rocking twigs and berries?

When this story was hot a couple of years ago, several of Lia's teammates stated "she" was still intact as a male. Their other issue was "she" admitted to being attracted to woman and wanted to continue dating woman. They felt it was a fox in the henhouse environment in the locker room.

I don't think you can find any official statement on whether Lia ever had bottom surgery.

T***s refers to t*********red. You're thinking of t**********e.
A t**********e is one who dresses in the clothing of the opposite sex. That person still has the g*****lia they were born with and thus a male t**********e could not compete in an event with female athletes.
T*********red involves t***sitioning through hormone therapy and surgery.
If you think you want a swimming medal so bad that you'd remove your penis and have a functioning "vagina" fashioned through plastic surgery, then go right ahead. Or in the case of Denise, he could have his vagina removed and surgically t***sitioned into a penis.
Wh**ever floats your boat.

btw - Privacy laws prevent us from obtaining an exact number of t***s athletes, but it is estimated that there are less than 100 in all the U.S.A.
Not something, I'm losing sleep over.

You're wrong, at least the t***s community thinks you're wrong. You don't have to start t***sitioning to be embraced by the t***s community. And they state that no one can determine the T***s status of an individual except that individual.
