I like B&H a lot. I buy all my camera equipment there. The fact that you practice your faith beliefs and are closed on Jewish holidays does not bother me at all. I admire your openness. I just ordered from B&H and received my order as stated. As for signing for my equipment, it is better to be safe and sure when I pay over $2000 for a lens. FedEx et al are not your fault. Thank you B&H. You have great customer service and can be trusted.
I purchased three great hummingbird feeders (red glass, dishwasher safe) and have them at different levels on a stand outside our dining room window. Great feeders-wasp and ant proof. We have about nine little hummers and one bully boy who guards the feeders-all day. The hummers ( when the got past bully boy) perch on the feeders and stay a while. Fun.
I have had to sign for everything I have bought from B&H and Apple. Today I am waiting for delivery of a lens I purchased from B&H. I know I will sit here all day waiting. Fed Ex is the big problem. They can’t deliver anything on time. Our cat food was a week late (had to buy Friskies at the corner gas station) and our kitty litter was late 5 days ( ugh). I wonder why Apple and Amazon can give me two day delivery but it takes FedEx two weeks from Tacoma which is an hour away from me. UPS generally delivers my packages to my neighbor. 🙄
Not sure what crosshairs might be but when I first had mine done I had halos around lights at night. Same thing happened with my hard contact lenses. This is because my pupils get larger than my lenses at night. I don’t notice it anymore and the halos seem to be gone. If your driving at night, you can try night glasses. I would go back to the doctor and tell them. Sounds odd to me.
I had cataract surgery last summer. Wow-am I thrilled. Wore contacts all my life. I only needed regular lenses so they put in one for distance and one for close. ( My contacts were the same-one close and one far). I have 20/20 vision and do not need glasses at all. One thing I have noticed is color. I am amazed that I can see the real color of things. For example, my daughter gave me a wool scarf which I though was black, grey, and white. Turns out, it is purple. This is my cataract story.
Indian Rupee. I looked it up on my money exchange app. $23.68 American at today’s exchange rate.
I have this lens. I love it and use it all the time.
I suspect that Canon is behind this. They want authorized sellers to sell their goods. Apple-same thing.
Thank you Gene 51. I am going to check out NANPA ( even though this was not my question)
Boy, are they beautiful. Just love #6
I have an iPhone XS Max and 2 Canon DSLR cameras. If I am desperate and don’t have a camera with me, I will take a snapshot with my phone. But I don’t like phone pictures very much-good for selfies I think. Just can’t manipulate the phone to get what I want. I just can’t do on my phone what I can do with my camera and lenses. I know some people seem to take great phone shots but not me. I doubt phones will overtake DSLRs. My opinion anyway.
What size is the photo? What type of paper is it printed on? I would frame it and hang it on a wall in my house. I have no idea what to pay but maybe $20.
Hmm. Well thank you. I will have to check that out.
I have Direct TV for $220 a month-all channels they offer. I also have Prime, Hulu, Netflix, HBO Go, EPIX, Britbox, PBS, MHz-I have no idea what they are costing me. My daughter is sharing her Hulu with me and I can get UTube free. I only watch certain types of shows (foreign murder mysteries -usually with subtitles) and these steaming services give ma a good selection. Since I live out in the boonies, my opportunities for entertainment are very limited. And in the rainy season-we just stay home.
I like the first photo - a lot. Adding darker colors removed the ethereal quality of the photo. The boats reflected in the water seem to want to rise above the water. The paler sky and washed out beach add to the quality. I would buy that photo if I saw it for sale. It tells a story.
