Those awful orange lady bugs can be your best friend when you have aphids.
The one in the photo appears to be just north of the equator, it's hard to tell.
Of course Photoshop creats global warming, look at these two photos. One shows the cover of one of Al Gores book a few years ago, that's the one that shows the hurricanes. Notice that two of the three rotate in a different direction than the other one. Hurricanes hardly ever form south of Panama but this photo shows one. There is no ice in the arctic circle.
Look at the original photo that was dug up by a meterologist, no hurricanes and the arctic circle has plenty of ice.
Enlarge both of these photos and you will see that they are the same satellite photo, one doctored up. You ask, could it be that the one that I'm calling the original is the doctored up one? No, the cover of Gores book is the doctored one because hurricanes only rotate in one direction and this shows one of the three rotating in different directions, the photoshop artist apparently didn't know this.
Sorry the top one is upside down.
Hi Sarge,
I lived in Dover/Rochester area for 42 years, ran an arial photo business out of Skyhaven. How long have you lived there?
Still have 2 daughters in Rochester.
Jim
Keep the coastal NH pictures coming, I haven't lived there since 1988, go back to visit from time to time, hate the snow and cold.

Semper Fi, I was a Jarhead in the early sixties, I heard about how tough you guys were and never wanted to find out on my own. I did visit the castle once, the Navy thought that my brother in law belonged in the castle, but on the other side of the bars from you.
It's a shame, this building has been vacant for over 40 years. I've always thought it could be turned into a huge resort hotel, but I'm sure that the government wouldn't allow that. In my stack of negatives, I've got arial shots of that as well as the whole Portsmouth area.
I've had my 6 x 8 tablet for over 4 years now and love it. It takes a little getting used to, but does a fantastic job once you learn how to use it.
We use Nutramax Cosequin DS Double-Strength, get it from Amazon.com at about 40 % less than pet stores and vets. This seems to help a lot.
All these kind things about Daisy are going to her head, her ego is big enough.
Fila's don't live long either, usually 8 to 10 years, thankfully Daisy just turned 10 and doing very well except for arthritis in her hip.
I knew of a family that had a St. Bernard, it was very protective of that family.
Most of what I do is for the ham radio community and can be seen at
www.jimsengraving.com. Click on the Ham Shack Essentials button at the top of the page. I'm just learning to sand blast photo's on granite and marble, still have a lot to learn. What I do for the ham radio community keeps me going 6 to 7 days a week.
You're right, it's the owners that make them mean. Some are extremely protective, but it's up to the owner to teach them properly.
It's fila brasileiro, Portuguese. The breed started in Brazil about 400 years ago to track down slaves and hunt jaguar's. There sense of smell is amazing.
