The only thing that has changed my photography in 2021 is Covid....the inability to travel to far off places...or anywhere else of interest has just about killed off my passion for photography. When youve lived in the same area for years and photographed just about everything of interest its now the equivelent of driving down a dead end street.
Im sure others wont feel the same though...in which case...continue to enjoy your photography.

"How's it "Not true." The motorcycle scenario literally just happened this month...in a 'red' state - Florida."

I read the entire article which stated that the motorcycle accident had initially been counted as a Covid death but then was corrected. I don't believe that this is proof that the deaths are overcounted. The rest of the article addressed the requirements for tallying Covid deaths.

And this Yale study says that Covid deaths are underreported:

American thinker has been rated;

Overall, we rate the American Thinker, Questionable based on extreme right wing bias, promotion of conspiracy theories/pseudoscience, use of poor sources and several failed fact checks.

Definition is everything.

In the US if you die in a motorcycle accident and test positive you are a COVID related death. George Floyd was a COVID related death.

Not true. Red states are under reporting. And the CDC has been removed from providing information. Why do you suppose that is?

As corporations and elected officials give into this madness we are now a society that walks on glass waiting for the new offending term, photo, statue, song or wh**ever to be listed in the political correctness playbook.
This will only polarize us further as we begin an era of hyper-sensitivity.

Or a recognition that we should treat everyone with respect?

What got lost in the t***slation was this question to ask yourself after absorbing the facts:

Apparently hundreds of thousands of white people were k**led over ending the practice of s***ery in this country. Does this sound to you like most people in America are r****t and America still maintains a r****t system in our country? All this fighting and dying was just for fun?

I maintain that r****m was beat back so bad that even a black man was elected President, twice.

and if you put your hands over your ears and humm loudly so you can’t hear - the b****s screaming with the agony of losing their family members to unwarranted police brutality

And if you close your eyes so you can’t see the blood in the streets - from black people being casually shot and k**led by unwarrented police brutality

Then you can live in the white man’s fairy tale land where he’s the only one who is entitled

Oh wait, that is your reality and everybody else should suck it up because you don’t hear or see any discrimination..... therefore it doesn’t exist

When will we 'get past' systemic discrimination, aka 'affirmative action?'

Probably when we get past systemic discrimination.

Are you saying that your short list balances the 800,000 Americans who died in the civil war?

Huh?

I'm sorry. I must have misunderstood when you said "Lincoln would Not say that r****m is still systemic in this country." because we had elected a black president.....

My answer pointed out that r****m still exists in this country (and is getting more prominent because of the r****t pink porker in the WH). The names were a few of a much longer list of black people k**led for no reason by police in this country just in the last year or so, which is proof of that r****m.

However many people died in the Civil War, could you explain to me why you compared that number with a few names of b****s who have died from police brutality? Perhaps you are saying that the b****s that have been brutalized by the police are unimportant because of the number of people who died in the Civil War. No, that makes no sense...

again...Huh?

With the Constitution changed to eradicate s***ery, all the amendments passed, all the laws, aid, programs, and the e******n of a black president twice, Lincoln would Not say that r****m is still systemic in this country. He was honest after all.

I wonder who would be the best judge of that?

Lincoln or

G****e F***d
Trayvon Martin
Tamir Rice

A short list To start with, there are many many more

I guess it’s all in your perspective. I can’t find any movies that AREN’T sraight white male.....

I have better luck with foreign movies/TV series (still sraight white male, but more interesting than american crap). There’s a terrific documentary on Itzak Perlman. And there are a couple of Australian TV series that are excellent.
