I tried doing a search on Registry Edit for one of my tag names but came up with nothing. I wouldn’t be surprised if the tags are in a hexadecimal file.
Thanks. I’ve done some searching on the internet and found nothing, just posts about how to edit tags.
Is there a way to edit this list? When I use Windows 10 File Explorer to add tags to pictures using the Detail Tab, I get a list of previous used tabs. Some are typos or ones I don't need. I'd like to clean up this list, if possible.
Several sightings of eagles here. Too bad this one is looking in the wrong direction.
I have a Sony A6000 with a Tamron 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III lens, which I use 98% of the time since I don't have to change lenses most of the time. I was just wondering if I would get sharper pictures with the Sony 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 OSS lens? Is it worth trading it to get the OSS?
Attached is a picture of an eagle on the Pacific Coast with the Tamron lens: f/6.3, 1/320 sec., ISO 100, 200mm.
Thanks.
One other thing about motels. During football home games motel rooms will be hard to find the closer you are to Pullman or Moscow.
I attended the University of Idaho in the late 80s. Don’t know much about place to stay but some places for photo ops:
Kamiak Butte
Steptoe Butte
College campuses: Idaho and Washington State
Hill above Lewiston and Clarkston (views of cities & Snake River)
Many farm views along rural roads in the Palouse
Have a good trip ,

Great picture. It’s kind of funny that the goldfinch is the state bird of Washington but I hardly ever see one here.
I took this picture while cycling on the Interurban Trail in Kent, Washington.
Sony a6000, 1/320 sec, at f/6.3, 55-210 zoom at 200mm.
Near Rapid City, SD The Badlands National Park has some colorful landforms. Also nearby are the Black Hills.
Little Bighorn Battlefield is near Billings.
Highway US-212 into Yellowstone NP is very scenic.
Have a good trip.
Aloha JoAnneK01,
I went to the University of Hawaii back in the seventies. I have a lot of pictures from there. Some are of the sunrise on Haleakala in 1976 while on a UH geology field trip.
Hi Everyone,
I'm living in western Washington and been into photography since I was a kid. Started out with a Kodak Instamatic 100 (126 film) back in the sixties. Later, also had a Polaroid Swinger. In high school I took a graphic arts class which had a big photography part. We did all the dark room process with B&W film, Kodak Tri-X and Pan-X, later some slides with Ektachrome. I learned a lot about shutter speed, f-stops (depth of field), composition, learning from mistakes, etc. Later my Dad got me a Mamiya/Sekor 1000 DTL SLR. Took a lot pictures with it. In my college years it got stolen, but I later replaced it with a Olympus OM-1 with a 50mm 1.4 and a Vivitar 70-210mm zoom. After going digital with many years of point and shoot cameras, I got a Sony A6000 kit. Recently, bought a Tamron 18-200mm zoom lens (like the all in one aspect). Many of my pictures I took while cycling. When on my touring bike I have a handlebar bar that I keep the Sony in with a Tamron zoom, ready for pictures along bicycle trails or roads. I find many times along roads I can just stop on the shoulder and take a photo where it would be hard to do in a car. Plus, I go much slower (~12mph) so it's easier to spot picture taking opportunities.
I also have a Fuji Finepix XP130 camera for all those times the Sony is too big to carry. Plus the Finepix is waterproof for our rainy western Washington winters.
South of Eureka CA, “Avenue of the Giants.” Side road through beautiful redwood forests.
