she is a pretty lady!! You have captured her well. I just love foxes, they are so smart and beautiful.
Otters are one of my favorite animals because they always seem to be playing and loving their life. I love this photo of him and now knowing that he just popped up to look at you makes me smile! I'd love to have taken this image!!
I am enjoying your cropped image, Linda. I like how it keeps my eyes roaming around it, not knowing what is the object concealed by the fence. I like how the light is reflected off of the pattern of the fence. I think I would even like to pretend I didn't know what either of these objects were, just stare at them! 8-)
I cannot pick a favorite! Each can stand on it's own. The colors are explosive and you have captured all in their full glory. Spring is such an amazing time. You have captured it well.
Linda, I always admire how you can look at something that most would probably pass daily without notice but you say, "I wonder what if?". You have an amazing ability to "see something", and ponder and are never taken aback by negative responses. Anyone who looked at this had to stop for longer than a 5 second glance and that is a positive response. Keep creating, keep questioning.
My other thought is, there are more pictures in the picture here. What if you cropped to just the bottom of the life guard's chair (kept the legs and their diagonal lines) and cropped out the right and left sides, keeping the posts as a border? An abstract that one might not realize that its at the pool?
Just wondering.
Impressive!! and it's eyes seem to follow me as I move back and forth!
Love the tranquility and the colors are stunning. Usually looking at that glory one can feel excitement, yet I find it hopeful and calming. And even more, I am so glad I decided to look into UHH today and found this, a fine piece of art from an old friend here.
this image is such a great story! gives one a much better sense of what goes on in the fight for a fish--not just one lone bear snagging dinner! All of your bear vs salmon images have been excellent but this one has the whole gang, like the credits in a movie!
beautiful sunset! the light/clouds give such gorgeous, warm, saturated color. Looks like a great place with lots of activity or a place to relax--your call.
Impressive and inspiring, Beth. I'm quite envious of your adventures. #3 is outstanding. Those claws are also impressive and do not invite bear hugs!
A fascinating pictorial story, yet every image could stand on it's own! Well done!
We here know it as "Love in the Mist", kinda like a small Batchelor Button. This is the pod after the bloom falls off. The pod will dry and you can plant the seeds (they are green at first and turn black)
What a fun story, Ron, and excellent captures of the bath and primping to make the gorgeous end portrait! Well done! and I don't blame it for sticking it's tongue out at you, seems justified!
This is awesome, Linda, and a good reminder to stop and look at scenes we pass everyday. Unexpected colors, wonderful textures and the birds lend us a perspective as to just how massive the rocks are. Well done.
