Did you ever hear Steven Chapman sing ‘Cinderella’ ? There is quite a story about this one:

Yes, he told us the story. Then played the song.

Hi Folks, this is my first post in the Christian category...so here goes. I've been to several churches during my worship with GOD. Years ago, I played guitar in my better days with a good praise and worship band from 2004-2007. Those were some of the best days of my life. Having the love of music in my soul, I love when I find a church that embraces music as a part of their service. I've had the opportunity to enjoy some mighty fine music since I live in the Nashville area. I have hundreds of pictures of services that have featured some big name Christian artists. I'm not bragging...but I am fortunate these artist are here in my area. So here's a few of the Katina's and Steven Curtis Chapman. I have lots more...

This is sad news. I haven't been on UHH much cause I've been sick. Erv gave me the incentive to take pictures my way. He didn't care if I used jpg or raw. He didn't care if I shot on Canon, Nikon or any other camera. He didn't care if I processed my images or not. He didn't care what kind of subjects I chose. He often told me...do what you want to do. As long as your having fun. I going to miss him. He was a kind, carefree gentleman. He's one of a kind. Sending Prayers to his whole family.

I have both the Sony RX10M4 and RX100M6. The RX10M4 has 600mm of zoom, the RX100M6 has 200mm of zoom. Both IMO are amazing cameras. I love the reach of the RX10 with 600mm zoom. That allows me to get some fantastic close ups. I love photographing musicians, there's a bunch here in Nashville, and the RX10 does a respectful job. Here's a few of my attempts. These were taken at some distance from the subject, most at 600mm. That Zeiss lens does the job!

I love listening to the radio. Today one can pretty much listen to most stations in the U.S and many around the world via online streaming. I bought a real cheap RCA tablet to do this with. Think I paid $50 for the tablet. And I use wireless bluetooth earbuds. So now can enjoy those shows with crystal clarity...no more fading in and out.

The RX10M4 is a fantastic "all purpose" camera. Great for travel, and I found it superb for shooting live music performances when you don't want to carry any gear...you just can't beat it.

Great shots. I take pictures of bands frequently but cannot get them that sharp when they are moving. What kind of lighting, shutter speed etc.

Thanks and I understand the movement problem. Thankfully these guys didn't move much. Lighting was night using the existing stage lighting. Aperture was f4.0, ISO-800, Shutter speeds varied between 100 and 160.

Nice shootingJames56, it’s great to see Ricky is still out performing. I’ve been a fan since I first encountered him with JD Crow and the New South.

Thanks, Ricky told everyone he (as well as many other musicians) are just now getting back to touring. He was in St. Louis the night before performing his show here in Murfreesboro TN. He said they were a bit rusty but everyone was happy to be out playing to live crowds again.
