Azted - try looking in the D2 menu, Live View Boost. Pretty much any setting other than OFF will artificially adjust the brightness of both the EVF and screen in order that you can see the subject in bright or dark situations; this will result in the outcome you describe in certain cases. I've probably not described this very well, but have a play with the settings - hope this helps
Hi - Same happened to me and a friend... the hood I found is from Fotodiox (their barcode 12759-01765) for replacing the Canon ET-78 II hood used on the EF135mm f2.0L USM / 180mm f3.5L USM lenses.
Not a perfect fit, but usable.
Good luck !
Lovely capture - as always
I'm assuming you have a TT350o, the specific Olympus version? If so, all should be good - however, if shooting in anti- shock or silent mode, you have to enable flash... go to shooting menu 2, then Anti-Shock/Silent, then Silent Mode Settings, then Flash Mode... which should be set to Allow.
Hope this works for you!

Thanks Tim!
I merely followed someone elses' guide... if you Google "How to create abstract Twirl Art Effects in Photoshop" you should find the first result will point you to the same site - photos.essentials. This explains better that I ever could exactly what each step does.
Give it a try - it's as fun as it looks - but be warned that it is somewhat addictive
