Thanks for providing the settings used on your camera for the humming bird shot. It is a big help for those trying to learn. I wish others do the same.

A used Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark i that I purchased on ebay just arrived. This camera is the first version of the M5 and is over ten years old. It is in very good condition and I wish to keep it that way. Do any of you have a leather case of half case you would be willing to sell? If you do,
please let me know.

Thank you, Big Koi

I just checked, and closest I can get is 54 mm by adding two extension tube sections to the adapter.
I have a Pentax primary 55mm 1.8 lens, which is not a macro. Will that work and give me 1:1?
I will give it a try in the next few days.
By the way, how does one calculate to determine what is need to achieve 1:1 images?
Thanks again for your efforts,

I have a Foroga M42-M4.3 adapter that is almost an inch thick. I am correct in assuming that should allow me to attain 1:1 images?
Thank you for your quick response

I have an Olympus Pen F, plus an adapter that allows me to mount vintage Pentax screw mount lenses, and that is the way I am leaning.
I am also considering an Olympus OM 50mm/f3.5 macro lens, but will have to also get an adapter.
I am not sure that either of the above lenses will yield I:1 images.
Are there any other vintages lenses that I should consider that will yield 1:1 images?

Thank in advance for your input,

Is the Mark III easier to master? I started my research on DPRview. I will continue to do research and will look at the the Panasonic GX7 and GX8.
Thank you for you guidance,

I am thinking about what should be my first 4/3 mirrorless camera. I currently have two point and shoot digital cameras, a Canon S-110 5X Optical Zoom ( 5.2-26mm, f/2.0-5.9) and a Sony DSC-HX90V 30X Optical Zoom (2.5-6.4mm f4.1-123). I use the canon S-110 mostly because os its faster lens but the zoom on the Sony and Optical viewfinder are nice to use for long shots. I also have a Canon P 35mm film camera I use ocasionally. I had a Canon D80 SLR but found I seldom used it because of its weight and size. I am considering an Olympus Pen F versus a Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II. What are your thoughts?
Thanks, Big-Koi
