I use the 1.4 teleconverter with my D500 and my 200-500. If you have good technique, it will give you excellent results. I found I need to use f/9 to get the sharpness that I am after. It does take some getting to. I use an Induro monopod with mine, I forget the model but it's their biggest one along with their tilt head.
Took this awhile back. I think everyone likes a cute squirrel picture.
Captured this awhile back. The Sparrow was being pretty cooperative. Would have liked to have gotten a little closer, but I don't think he would have liked that!
Nice capture! The Red Fox is still on my bucket list of photos to get.
This was taken in September at my local wetland.
I live in Danville,Il. The photo was taken at Heron County Park.
Taken at a wetland near my home in Illinois. I love photos where the subject is doing something.
Thanks for the welcome. I will be sure to do that in future posts.
I thought I would say a few things about myself so you all would know a little something about me. I am a hobbyist photographer who shoots mainly wildlife. Got into photography about 4yrs ago. I completely self taught. Thank God for you tube! One thing I have learned is that it is not so much the equipment but me thinking about what the conditions are and adjusting accordingly. Who knows, I might even get good one these days!
