We have needs and wants, so new fulfills these. And then the perception of better will yield
A better result, and sometimes it can. Many rational reasons including playing with new toys.

I watched a special on rare animals and the photographer was using black backgrounds
And it really worked, he did state he sometimes uses white. Then today I see your work
And the flowers also pop so Thanks again

Very nice great colors. I just realized what I am missing in props. I will purchase a peace of black
Construction paper and make a light weight 3 LEGGED stand to hold behind the flowers I find
In the wild. Thanks

I do avoid those to good to be true. I looked at the ad and definitely something wrong at that
Price.

I wonder if they will use IBIS I am so happy that I chose the Oly back when I left Sony instead of Panasonic
All the lenses that I buy now are pro Oly lenses the quality is great and as IBIS improves and sensors improve,
I will upgrade them together with a new body. Panasonic now has the IBIS. M43 gives me lots of flexibility and
I shoot lots of wildlife, so weight is a big factor. The electronic viewfinders today are so good I don't miss the
Mirror clatter. And silent shutter comes in handy with wildlife. Nice to see Nikon getting in on mirrorless.

I Am thinking Sony Sensor manufacturing is a separate division from the camera manufacturing portion.
In order to keep the sensor business intact they work with Nikon specs and other manufacturers so not
To harm or lose business with conflicts of interest IMHO.

I bought one refurbished with out a problem EPM2 my first micro 4/3 A cheap way to see if I liked
That 16 mp sensor and could deal with Olympus menus exc. Now I am only shooting micro 4/3

As you use the compression of the telephoto 300mm your depth of field should be shallow at f6.3
Anyway do some testing having your subjects background further away will help blurr the background.

Things I recently visited and worth the visit. Can find all online. Kartchener Caverns, Puma Air and Space Museum. Arizona-sonora Desert Museum, Antelope Canyon, Saguaro National Park. And of course the Grand Canyon. Meteor Crater. And many more Photo opportunities. And that is a short list.

My two cents says a point and shoot from one of the big 6 manufacturers so learning the menus
Will carry over if you upgrade to a dslr or mirrorless. So a Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Sony, Panasonic, Olympus.
Other brands have a limited future upgrade. Those $200-300 range can give great results in capable hands.

I went to mirrorless and really like the seeing the results before hand so adjusting exposure saves time and
I have less editing to do. About image quality I went with micro 4/3 because quality in sensors will continue
To get better and they are great now. So lens selection being great with OLYPAN and the Oly pro line is very sharp. Cheap no but quality yes and manual focus is the best. So ending up with light weight easy carry system that I only need one camera system. I am now retired and no longer wish to carry 10# of gear on a
Mountain hike or a street walk shooting. More Mega Pixel for tight cropping is a plus. My personal Why?

I love mirrorless silent shutter and lighter. No need in Landscapes to go back to ff
I carry two bodies with two pro lenses. OMD for me I have owned Nikon and Fuji and Sony
Not those models but easy enough to learn the menus. So with that choice xt2
And I like Nikon and the d500 looks great.
