Went to a shop on the Big Island full of metal prints showing typical large ocean and volcano scenes for sale. The gallery owner explained that the glow comes from how the metal reflects light differently than paper. He added that all his brilliant work was printed by Bay Photo and that I should use them too!

I have 2 from Bay Photo. Very pleased with the product.

Beautiful shot Dennis. The old addage "Red sky in the morning, sailor's warning" comes to mind. I just spent 3 days fishing at Catalina Island and the sky was like that in the morning. Come the afternoon and a fluke storm rolled in like a freight train with offshore warnings from Los Angeles to San Diego. Love the power of the ocean and weather. Your photo has that feel of something coming. Great job.

Jim

Thanks very much Jim.

Sun-rise or-set...does'nt change the scene...the sky is beautiful and the sea looks "smooth"...and the picture shows a gorgeous seascape. Who needs more? I like this shot.

Thanks Dan.

Beautiful shot! Personally, I find it much easier to take sunsets than getting up for sunrise. ……I might have to reconsider… at my age I think I probably am up within 10 minutes of sunrise anyway… if I can remember to get dressed and have my camera ready to go….🤓

Thank you and you have a good point.
