I'm knew to this fantastic, informative forum (and DSLR photography) and thought it time to try my "used" E510 Olympus on some of my wife's garden flowers... I took this with the "standard" Olympus kit lens - 14 to 42mm telephoto in the "M" mode, ISO@400, 1/400sec, f/10 with WB@Auto, approx 20" from subject...Just a random shot. We have a Japanese Beatle problem..but the holes in the leaf allow a blue/ green contrast.. thanks, RJ

Jan,,, Great photo! I'm curious as to what your aperture/iso settings were and the type of lens...? Hope to see more photos from you.

Anyone... I am looking for a "good" quality wide angle lens for my Olympus E510. If anyone has some experience with the Zuiko 25mm f/2.8 wide angle, I would like your thoughts as to its capabilities to generate crisp, sharp images out to the edge. I would use the WA for imaging the Aurora Borealis, etc. I am very pleased with this camera, I'm currently using the 40-150mm Zuiko Zoom lens.

First hummingbird..Manual set, f/5.6, ISO400, 150mm at 28ft from bird.
