Thanks, you have me expanding my thinking of new scenarios.
Thank you for your advice. Some things I never thought of. Now to conjure up nice weather!
Really great shots, what lens? Can't see where the other foot is when he had possession of ball which adds some mystique to the series. Love that aspect.
I have never tried capturing my dog (Ozzie) catching his frisbee, can anyone give me some advice? I'll be using Canon gear, 5D IV and the 70-200 f2. 8L II. I may be stretching topic of sports but I'm guessing it might be close to soccer. Thank you
The first 600's are good for straight 35mm and will handle 2 1/4. But I suggest the beseler 23c. Some great buys but watch freight charges, many have a $196 freight charge with the enlarger costing under $100. Message me as I have a first 600 with lensboards & lenses collecting dust.
Try trap focusing in manual focus
I have a manfroto and I picked up the hand grip to use as a cane trekking to the spot. Works out well for me.
Thank you for sharing your photos and your great historical write up!
Definitely Chinese vendors. Long, long delivery times prior to virus. Now there's a good chance it will be stuck in China till they end "The Spring Holiday Festival" as they call it. Just stay away from Wish and AliBaba.

I agree with the suggestions to go the f1.8 an extremely good lens. Shot many weddings using this gem.
Get an APO Rodagon. It has Leica 39mm thread. You need a bellows unit as enlarging lenses do not focus.
I found it very useful to use AA batteries with the insert while traveling through eastern Europe.
