For me the 780 was very much worth it for just the superior focus system ( Against my D7200, D750, D810, or my D850). Older eyes very much appreciate the focus capabilities, if I could only keep one body, the nod would be for the 780.

My only suggestion on the Thailand destination is that the only time of year that is suitable is from mid November thru mid February, the sweet month is December. Wonderful photo ops all over the country. All bets off if it is as smokey as it has been for the last two seasons.

Latest update to Affinity Photo is out. 1.7.
I've been with their Beta testing for a while now. Pleased that it is a vast upgrade, much faster than 1.65

This mornings surprise, caught this one with my Tokina 85mm 1.8, have to take these shots with the lens you have on the camera, not the one you have on the shelf.... she did give me a minuet of her time. I was pleasantly pleased with the detail in this one.

Might be wise to do some google searches on Vanon. I just did, however I didn't find any easily found references to any camera batteries. I did pick up that they were "middle of the road" on their product.
