I use a small roll-a-board for gear between destinations. For daily outings I use a messenger bag worn across my chest to hold the camera and lens(es) for the day. I put one of those airplane neck pillows (lightly blown up) in the bottom of the messenger bag to cushion the equipment. I also use a camera strap that goes across my chest that allows the camera to slide from the bag to my face for shooting. Keeps the weight off my neck.
I used to carry all of my gear (1 body, 2-3 lenses plus misc stuff) in a camera backpack between destinations, but now that has become a lot of weight to sling around when you consider all of the other stuff like phones, chargers, players, batteries, cleaners, books, folders and glasses that I carry when travelling.

A book named "1775--A good year for revolution" discusses the build up that was required to start the country: organizing committees of correspondence, forming rump legislatures, smuggling of gunpowder, organizing local m*****as, robbing weapons depots, identifying and outing "loyalists", vying for the loyalty of the local tribe, etc.
You will understand why m*****as were so important since they were the local organizing groups which eventually grew into Washington's army.
It's easy to see where the content of the 2nd amendment came from: taking you gun away was what the local loyalist authority did to you to minimize your ability to fight his authority. And also guns at that time were an everyday tool on the frontier west of the coastal regions for feeding your family and protection in the more lawless regions.
In comparison to the civilization that included the 2nd amendment in the constitution, fast forward 250 years to our land of interstates, instant communication, tall buildings and Burger Kings: what place do guns have in this country in 2020?. Is there a tribe of Cherokee over the next hill whose hunting ground you are building your home on? Did the local Krogers run out of burger so you need to run out and bag a 'possum? Did you refuse to pay for your used car so the bank is sending a posse over to take it out of you by force? And with the massive firepower that every police, sheriff, national guard now has, do you really think you and your little band of 5 revolutionaries are going to take back the country?
No, you don't and you won't. But guns do have a place now...as collector items like old swords from the civil war, for sport like target practice, and for animal hunting in the wilderness.
The on-going slaughter of our countryman requires the "cold-dead hands" crowd to be reasonable. No one wants to take your gun away. However I do want to have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Which means not being gunned down while you're out grabbing a beer at the local pop stand. You don't NEED an auto or semi-automatic weapon, you don't NEED a monster load of ammo. But I NEED to feel free to live my life day-to-day without being gunned down. I expected to get shot while on ambush patrol in VN, but I don't expect to get shot while buying paper towels at Wal-Mart.

Not defending what happened after, saying what caused it to start? People don't revolt because of the speeches of one man.

Wow "Barbra Streisand"??? please no, not that. Go back to yelling at the dog, grump.

Country are not wealthy. People in the country are wealthy. Some people in Cuba revolted. Why is what I asked.

"T***h condemns me"? What? preparing to lead a firing squad?

A better point would be to ask why was there a revolution in Cuba? Should intense poverty and a corrupt government have been left to thrive for the benefit of the mafia and the wealthy? What were people so upset about that a whole army formed to throw out the government? Castro must have touched something in them. A better line of reading might be what happened to make Castro become so pro-C*******t and destroy Cuba's middle-upper class so violently? He was in Tampa before the revolution collecting funds from the cigar merchants. Is Castro another Ho Chi Minh story of being rebuffed by our government? Anyone know? Or would you rather just call me a name and be done with it

Our founding fathers were all sons of wealth--the educated class at that time were from the wealthy class. Do you think a farmer after spending all day in the fields would read Hume or "Wealth of Nations" by candlelight? Like you are saying about Che, you could also say that our founding fathers were spoiled rich kids causing problem for everyone. The only difference is that T-shirts did not exist back then.

This country's current government was formed by revolution. Revolution happens because of an in-balance, usually economic--that is held in check by a government. An in-balance is happening now in this country--the top 0.1% own as much as the bottom 90%. Because of deregulation, corporate lobbyists, and bought and paid-for congress. Trump was v**ed in because the broken lower classes sensed things were wrong and thought that f-ing things up was the only solution. Less government is not a solution--things are too complicated and anyway it's a dog whistle. The wealthy are not going to let go of their acquiring nature, it has to be taken from them with laws and regulation. For the good of us all.

I wear a messenger bag with padding in the bottom across my chest along with a sling strap for the camera. The camera stays in the messenger bag until I want to shoot so my camera is not exposed to everyone all of the time. Also some of the overseas hotels have room safes to store extra lenses.

If he loves our brave men and women in the military so much, why did he pay off a doctor to get out of being drafted. Such a monstrous hypocrite. Those of us who went when called have every right to call him un-American and a coward. And you elected him president. And then you thank me for my service. Make up your mind.
