People who stick to the old name brands are missing wonderful opportunities with new optics. Brands like TTArtisan, 7Artisans, Samyang, Meike, Viltrox, Irix, Youngno, and Laowa are pushing the bounds with their offerings, which are not often mechanically and optically excellent. For example the Yongnuo YN 85mm F1.8S DF DSM is ranked third highest of all lenses in the DXOmark database in optical quality, and it costs $345.

Laowa makes some unique super macro lenses, as well as the world's widest rectilinear lens (9mm). All excellent quality.

The 7Artisan 50mm f0.95 is for MFT, but TTArtisan makes a 50 0.95 for full frame, which is very good.

As I write this I am using my TTArtisan 11mm ED F/2.8 Fisheye on my Nikon Z6. It is a full frame Z mount lens, inexpensive and very sharp and solidly built.

It's an organ.

Definitely a parlor organ. Note the stops. Should have foot pedals to move the air. We had one till the mice did it in.

“Work on” meaning use as a computer, or “work on” meaning repair?

These days I shoot only slide films (I no longer have my color darkroom). It's kind SOOC. Yeah you can have slide film pushed or pulled but for me these days it makes no sense. Back in the old days I pushed film because I need to get the pictures when it's dark. Today if I need to take such pictures I would definitely use digital. I only use 100 speed film and no push. Being the slides and I project them (I don't scan them) and it's kind of straight out of the camera for me. It's kind of fun that way.

My Nikon F6 is loaded (usually) with Ektachrome 100 and I have (still) many empty and available Carousel trays. For B&W I use my Nikon FE which is lighter. The F6 is Nikon’s flagship film SLR, has a similar workflow to my DSLR (soon to be sold D7100) and the heft of its legendary parent, the original Nikon F Photomic FTN (which I NEVER should have sold). The D7100 is being sold along with about half a dozen DX lenses because in my digital world I haven’t looked back since buying (on a GAS attack) a Z6. The 7100 has lived on the shelf ever since. The handful of FX lenses I had bought for it have been repurposed to the F6 or to the Z6 with FTZ adapter.

If you don't understand the question, I assume your answer is no.

That is, does anyone! I started to ask the question differently, but after posting, noticed my question turned into gutter language! Sorry.

I still have one but it is a double A battery hog and the only cameras I'd use it are my Rolleicord III and my Pentax 6x7. So it sits on a shelf, a monument to the past. But it WAS a hell of a flash unit in its day.

I prefer #1. It struck me right away. I agree that the feather enhances the image but I like the overall impact of the first more.

Hello photo friends.
I've purchased the majority of my camera equipment, both new and used from B & H and Adorama, and have been extremely pleased.
I saw a lens listed from KEH, a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L II USM EF Mount Lens that I'm interested in purchasing, however, I have never had dealings with KEH. My question to you good folks is, have you dealt with them and how were your experiences?
I look forward to your responses.

I have bought used from both and have been pleased with both.

The post office obviously doesn't want to bargain with me. They gave me an initial price of around 35.00 and then measured the box and upped it to $56.00. I'll check with UPS when I'm out tomorrow and see what they want. If it is something similar, it might make sense to break it down into two parcels to minimize the footprint of the box.
Ok. Awaiting the results.

Michael,
Let me package them up and see what kind of bargain the post office might offer. I assume that parcel post is acceptable. If the shipping charge is reasonable and you still want them, I'll take Paypal as a friend or buddy. I'll try and get you a number the afternoon of July 6.

SOUNDS GOOD.

I have more of these than I can use and am willing to let a group of 5 go for $15.00 & shipping from the greater Chicago area.

I’m interested. How much to ship to Fairfield CT? PayPal OK?

Going from a D7500 to the Z6 was a very easy transition…

I bought a Z6 a year ago and haven’t used my D7100 since so my experience is similar. I will be selling off my D7100 and all my DX lenses soon.
