I am really enjoying your archive. It reminds me of 1965 when I was in school at Santa Barbara and hung out at Isla Vista beach, near the college. That was also a time where it was hard to find overweight girls.

Something you don't understand? You do have options...

Or is this just one of your germain comments.

You seem a little unhinged.

Aren't you just special! The Attic was not developed for normal conversation. Did somebody force you to participate in the Attic? Do you know the Attic purpose and history? Do you enjoy whining?

Maybe Chit-Chat would make you happier while adding your so called germain comments.

Wow!

I actually wanted to add some germain comments, but normal conversation can't compete with the childish vitriol from the current responders!

Beautiful car nicely captured.
It looks like a Cadillac emblem in the center of the grill.

I believe the Cadillac emblem would have had ducks during that era.

No Roosevelt didn't take us off the gold standard. Or should I say gold backing the dollar. He took gold out of circulation from the citizens as a form of currency. He did this to promote the use of the dollar instead of gold in normal t***sactions. Also so that the government had more gold in reserve so they could print more money. Unfortunately Reagan is the president who removed the backing of the dollar by gold. It allows the government to print money whenever they want. It used to be when they printed money they had to have the same amount of gold in reserve.
No Roosevelt didn't take us off the gold standard.... (show quote)

I was in college when the gold standard was removed by RICHARD NIXON!

A sign at the public/high school pool we go to says: "No matter how slow you go, you are faster than the guy sitting on his couch."

I recently bought a Nikon ES-2 slide copier and a Nikon AF-S Micro 60 1:2.8 lens to make copies of slide and black & white film shot prior using Pentax spotmatic cameras to digital. I have many shots from 1973 on that i want to digitize and many I don't
I am finding that making a good good copy is difficult and many times my focus was off.
I am learning to make sure I don't flip the image otherwise the car becomes right-hand drive.

This shot of my wife applying sunblock while we were camping at nearby state park. Those that can recognize cars will understand the unusual choice we made for a camping vehicle to haul a sears 2 person pup tent, sleeping bags, camp store and a cooler. We used the same car for a 30 day vacation in early 1975 Germany and Italy just before shipping to the states

In 1974 I had just graduated college and unemployed. Wife and I took a month long camping trip in British Columbia. In an Alfa Romeo (purchased when I WAS employed)

I have you all beat. I went to school for a few years in Alamosa, CO (7200' above sea level). Before global warming, it was often one of the coldest places in the nation. One night my car broke down when it was -36 (acutal temp, not wind chill). Fortunately someone stopped and gave us a ride to town.

When I lived in Alamosa, -28 was as cold as it got. But, I found a cool -40 in Casper Wyoming. When I was in high school in Boulder, every winter I walked to school at least a couple of days at -20. But it was not uphill and I wasn't barefoot.

I have seen two versions on the internet showing what AI thinks the people of each state look like. I only did my state of New Mexico, but got a hilarious rendition.

Because of the nature of my question, I can't post this anyplace else. I am using Photoshop Beta and Night Cafe to create AI with real photos for amusement. Both platforms prohibit NSFW images. Sometimes PS will create an image around my model, sometimes. I have been notified more than once that they will not allow the use, even if the nude model is my own photo. Since all of my photos have been edited in PS, I am wondering why a platform allegedly created for artists and the production of art is censored? The censorship happens on both programs, with Night Cafe threatening to ban the user if a NSFW image is attempted. It just seems very odd that we are being treated like children. Anyone know why?
