A couple from last year, but i get to many non keepers due to focus issues, maybe just me. Also looking at sending the D7200 and lens in for calibration and cleaning.
Baseball not basketball ;)
Currently shooting a D7200 with the Tamron 70-200 G2. Debating upgrading the body to the D500 for faster autofocus or a large zoom ( 200-500, 150-600) for extra reach. Trying to stay around $1500.00.
Thanks
Will be taking family and player shots at our high school baseball teams banquet. There will be both outdoor and indoor shots. Its senior night so there will be shots taken with players and their parents as well as team photos. I have the D7200 with a Tamron 70-200 G2 and a Nikon 18-140 with Godox flashes. Was thinking of renting a D850 and maybe a good 24-70 lens just for this night. Thoughts on if its worth the combo or just getting a good lens for the family and group shots. Space inside can be close so the 70-200 is out.
Thanks for all the replies. I'm looking at approx. 26 kids and 5 coaches. Two rows.
I have the 18-140 but don't know if its sharp enough.
Using a Nikon D7200 body.
Opinions for best lens to take baseball team group photos.
Thanks
Godox 685n $110 or 860iiN $179 new.
Lens recommendations for an outdoor shot at PNC Park, senior pictures for a few of our high school boys from the baseball team. No action shots, headshots etc. I have a Nikon D7200, Godox 685n flash, Tamron 70-200 G2. Thinking of something like a 50mm F1.8 or similar reach zoom.
Thanks for the replies. I ended up going with the 685 and the PROPAC PB960.
Looking for a flash for my D7200. Narrowed it down to these two. Other than the battery specs look similar. I will be picking up a Godox PROPAC PB960 so the battery in the flash shouldn't really be an issue. Other than the battery is there any good reason to go with the 860.
Thanks
Installed both updates on my D7200. Now an old Sigma 18-200 that did not work properly when using the flash is working fine.
Had some shots enlarged to 2'X3' posters. The company wanted PDF. Just wondering why pdf.
How did you like the 18-400?
Using the D7200 with Tamron 70-200 G2. Better option to add some range the 2X teleconverter for the 70-200 or the new Tamron 100-400.
